Chapter 308 He Bullied Her Fiercely on the Bed Again
When Grace's phone buzzed, she and Xavier were chilling in the room.
Xavier had her pinned on the couch, and the phone had already slipped to the floor ages ago.
Getting interrupted now? Yeah, Xavier wasn't about to give that vibrating phone any attention. He kept going, and Grace's hand wavered as she tried to grab the phone, but Xavier pulled her back.
"The phone," Grace's voice was all soft and sweet.
"Seriously? You're thinking about the phone now?" Xavier bit her earlobe, giving her a playful punishment.
Even though Grace had muted the ringtone, the vibration was still going, which was just as annoying.
Grace panted. "Even if we're gonna ignore it, we should at least turn off the vibration."
Otherwise, it felt like she was doing something sneaky.
How did Xavier have such good stamina? It had already been so long, and he hadn't rested yet was still so intense.
Grace thought, 'How does Xavier have such crazy stamina? It's been forever, and he's still going strong.'
She glanced at the phone; it was Kelly's parents calling.
Before she could swipe to answer, Xavier nibbled at her neck. "If you dare to answer, I don't mind letting them know what you're up to."
Xavier didn't want any interruptions.
His words made Grace's body tense, and she automatically pictured that scene in her head.
Her whole body was now flushed, especially her earlobes and cheeks.
Sensing the change in Grace's body, Xavier almost gave in.
He wasn't indifferent to sex; he loved teasing Grace in bed, knowing how sensitive she was and enjoying her shy blush.
Xavier said, "Or we could hit up The Montgomery Mansion tonight. Today’s your ex-fiancé's wedding day. What do you think his reaction will be when he sees you? Remember the first time at The Montgomery Mansion, when you snuck into my room and climbed into my bed? How about we go back there and get it on tonight?"
"No, you... stop talking." Grace reacted strongly to Xavier's dirty talk.
The situation back then wasn't like that at all. She was locked in by Wendy and didn't even know it was Xavier's room at the time.
Xavier said, "Why not talk about it? Why don't you call me uncle anymore?"
"It's not..." She raised her neck.
Xavier said, "Not what? You don't wanna call me uncle?"
"Stop talking." Grace couldn't take it anymore. She wrapped her arms around Xavier's neck and kissed his lips.
Xavier asked, "Are you gonna answer the phone or not?"
Grace said, "I wasn't planning to."
Grace hung up the phone and turned it off.
Grace said, "Now no one will disturb us."
As soon as she finished speaking, Xavier's kiss landed again.
Grace felt like her bones were turning to jelly. After it ended, Xavier held her as they lay on the bed.
Xavier must've been super tired because he closed his eyes. She leaned against his chest, feeling his breath and heartbeat. Grace wasn't tired, but all she wanted was to hold him, not moving an inch.
For Xavier, working long hours without rest was the norm. He had sleep disorders and rarely rested before. Grace's scent was like a lullaby to him. With Grace by his side, he could always sleep soundly. Especially holding her, he felt super comfy and relaxed.
Xavier finally had his first good sleep in days.
When Xavier woke up, Grace was still snoozing.
In this rare chill moment, Xavier just held her, doing absolutely nothing.
He realized now that his feelings for Grace ran deeper than he thought.
When he didn't see her, he missed her. When he did see her, all he wanted was to be close to her.
He'd never liked anyone else, so he didn't even know what to call this feeling.
He was super grateful he came back to Skigeth when Ryan and Grace got engaged. Otherwise, Grace might've been his nephew's wife by now.
Grace woke up a bit later, not wanting to move at all.
Seeing the satisfied look on Xavier's face, Grace muttered, "Jerk!"
"That's all it takes to be a jerk?" Xavier's lips curled up, clearly in a good mood.
Grace opened her mouth and bit Xavier's neck, leaving a teeth mark.
"This is your punishment. When will Mr. Montgomery in bed be as restrained as he is out of bed!"
Xavier laughed. "I'll take that as a compliment for my skills."
This sentence now had a different meaning for Grace. In every aspect, Xavier was indeed very capable.
Grace buried herself in the blanket, suddenly remembering something. She popped her head out again. "Where's my phone? I need to call Kelly's parents back."
Xavier, feeling satisfied, didn't stop Grace from making the call.
He picked up Grace's phone from the floor and handed it to her. Grace then turned it on.
Her phone was flooded with messages: missed calls from Samuel and Julia, and texts from Angela asking about her and Xavier.
After replying to Angela, Grace got ready to call Samuel and Julia.
Grace made a shushing gesture. "I'm making a call, so zip it."
She dialed Samuel and Julia's number, and the call was quickly answered.
Samuel said, "Grace, we're at the hotel now. A five-star hotel is really different; the room is huge, and the bed is super comfy."
Grace thought Samuel and Julia would go to The Montgomery Mansion. She didn't expect them to leave like that. "How could Kelly do that? You are her parents, and she actually let you stay in a hotel."
Grace said, "This hotel can't compare to The Montgomery Mansion. You should stay at there instead. Even if you don't stay, you should see where Kelly will live in the future, right?"
"You're right. Samuel and I will go now!" Julia was ecstatic. "By the way, Kelly offered us a million bucks if we agreed to go home and never show up again. We thought we'd call you to see if a million dollars is a lot. Should we take it?"
This was a gift for Kelly and the Montgomery family. No way was Grace letting Kelly get rid of them so easily. "A million bucks isn't even enough to buy a car for them. You must've heard that their wedding venue today cost over ten million dollars. I think you should go to The Montgomery Mansion first and then decide."
"Kelly actually gives us little money; we're going to find her now!" Samuel and Julia were infuriated.
They originally thought a million bucks was a lot, but now it seemed like just a little.
They needed to go to The Montgomery Mansion now! They wanted to see how rich the Montgomery family really was.
After hanging up the phone, Grace knew that tonight, the Montgomery family was destined for chaos.
Kelly was so looking forward to this wedding, so the wedding night should be lively. Even if she wasn't there, Grace could imagine the scene.
