Chapter 172 Grace's Strong Counterattack

At the Bameran villa, Xavier would rise every morning for his workout routine.

The sweat from his workout drenched his clothes, turning his white shirt semi-transparent, revealing the faint outline of his chest muscles and his broad, solid back. Every inch of his physique seemed chiseled, with an aura of masculinity filling the entire gym.

On the treadmill, Mason's voice came through his phone. "Mr. Montgomery, the internet is abuzz with this issue. There's no response from Ryan's side, likely because someone else is fanning the flames. The topic of Ms. Lewis being the home wrecker is gaining the most traction. Should we help her handle this?"

"No need. If Grace can't handle this on her own, it only proves she lacks the capability." Xavier's voice was cold, as if he truly didn't care at all.

Mason, on the other end of the line, said, "Alright, then I'll instruct everyone to leave it alone."

They then discussed some other work-related matters. When Mason had almost finished, he said, "Mr. Montgomery, if there's nothing else, I'll get back to work."

Xavier paused, speaking quickly before Mason could end the call, "If Grace takes any steps or posts a clarification online, make sure to amplify its visibility."

"Yes, sir."

"And the news about the Montgomery and Lewis family alliance has been online long enough," Xavier added.

"Understood!" Mason grasped it in an instant.

Though Xavier usually didn't go online, he was well aware of the ongoing buzz surrounding the news. Despite claiming indifference, his earnest actions spoke volumes, even if he was reluctant to acknowledge it.

"Mr. Montgomery, Ms. Lewis and Ryan's wedding date is approaching, less than a month away," Mason reminded him.

If Xavier didn't act, Grace would soon be Ryan's wife.

Xavier's voice suddenly turned icy, and his eyes turned deep to an extreme.

"Her marriage has nothing to do with me."

One could clearly sense the change in his tone.

Mason remained silent.

Xavier always said one thing but meant another.

"Mr. Montgomery, it seems Ms. Lewis has started a live stream." Mason suddenly noticed.

"What?"

"She's live streaming on some online platform," replied Mason.

"Got it."

Xavier hung up the phone, opened his mobile, and found the platform, searching for Grace's live stream.

On Grace's end, she had already seen the online news. Ryan and Kelly had been photographed in a hotel room, completely naked, with only the key areas censored.

The media claimed it was Grace who had leaked the photos. Coupled with Kelly's emotional proclamation of her and Ryan's love, reporters had pushed the narrative of Grace being the home wrecker to the forefront.

Ignoring Ryan's loud shouting at the door, Grace coldly read through the news.

Was Kelly not tired of her tactics?

At the engagement, Kelly had publicly released bedroom photos. Last time at the hotel, she had deliberately called the paparazzi to take photos outside. Now, she was using the same trick again.

Grace quickly applied some makeup to restore her usual appearance.

She checked the internet again; her name was trending. She immediately started a live stream on her phone.

"Sorry to bother everyone, but someone is knocking loudly at my door, and I'm a bit scared. If anything happens to me, I hope you all can help call the police. This will serve as evidence, a record."

Using a legitimate reason, Grace started the live stream and positioned her phone on the table.

Netizens, waking up to such big news, were excitedly discussing it as they saw Grace go live.

[What's happening now? Is Grace going to clarify?]

[Who knows?Let's watch.]

The online chatter was buzzing, and Grace's live stream quickly filled with viewers.

After placing her phone, Grace went to open the door. Standing there were Ryan and Kelly, looking quite the pair.

Seeing Grace, Ryan immediately began to curse, "Grace, you seem to be sleeping soundly and hiding at home. Are you satisfied with how things are now?"

"What have Kelly and I ever done to you? How does this benefit you? If you're jealous, just say it. Kelly only looked after me because I was drunk; it wasn't on purpose. She even texted you to come take care of me, but you didn't show up."

"Can you put away your jealousy? I won't marry a woman who only knows how to be jealous and use sneaky tactics!"

Neither he nor Kelly noticed the phone camera pointed at them. Kelly clung to Ryan, saying, "Ryan, it's my fault. Don't be angry, and don't blame Grace."

Grace watched them coldly, even clapping her hands. "Truly spectacular. I sit at home and get slandered out of nowhere."

"What do you mean by that?" Ryan asked.

Grace replied, "I had no idea you and Kelly were getting a room, nor did I know your room number or where your key card was. If I had reported it to the media, why would I give them my name and tell them it was me?"

Grace's expression of looking at an idiot infuriated Ryan.

Then, she smiled, "Sorry, if I had really reported it, it would have been to the police, accusing you of prostitution. You'd be proving yourself at the police station, not coming here to make a scene."

She turned to Kelly. "This isn't the first time you've orchestrated something. Reporters captured photos of you and Ryan entering a hotel once before."

"You're lying!" Kelly denied.

"I didn't even see the message you sent me. I had no idea where you were," claimed Grace.

"This isn't the first time you two have gotten a room. How many times have you sent me your bedroom photos? Have you counted? Do you enjoy having others see you during sex? Are you missing someone to hand you condoms?"

Grace laughed, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "You posted the photos without Ryan knowing, right? You've completely embarrassed him. If I were a man with such a small dick, I'd be too ashamed to let others see. I admire you for sacrificing so much for the title of Mrs. Montgomery."

"Keep this filthy man to yourself. If you don't find him disgusting, I certainly do!"

Grace's words sent the online viewers into a frenzy.

[What? This woman slept with someone else's fiancé and sent the bedroom photos to his fiancée?]

[She truly was cunning and without moral boundaries!]

"It's not like that, Grace," Kelly said, looking pitiful, still trying to act innocent.

"Shut up!" Grace's tone was fierce, scaring both Kelly and Ryan.

Her expression was cold, her eyes even colder.

Ryan felt as if her gaze pierced his heart.

For the first time, he thought Grace's eyes seemed familiar, as if he had seen them somewhere before.

"Ryan, we do have an engagement, arranged by our parents without my consent. But after the engagement, how many women have you slept with? Among the women you take out each time, I'm sure Kelly isn't the only one," Grace pointed.

Grace's gaze then shifted to Kelly. "I remember, you met Ryan through me. You requested his contact details, and the following day, you were in his bed, insisting you were intoxicated and it was a one-night stand. Yet, you never actually left his bed, did you?"

"Just because you have no shame doesn't mean everyone else is the same," she added.

"How many times have you wronged me, and how many times have you framed me behind my back? You know it well. Since you two are true love, let's annul the engagement. I wish you both a lifetime of happiness together!"

Grace was calm and logical, leaving Kelly and Ryan stunned.
