Chapter 251 You and Xavier Made it? When's the Wedding?
If Ryan's reproductive organs weren't working, how was he different from being crippled?
Plus, he wasn't even married yet. When they heard the news, they were devastated.
"This can't be true, doctor. Are you the best here? Get the top doctor now. You must save my son. Money is no object;we'll pay whatever it takes!" Amy yelled.
Amy was losing it, questioning everyone.
The doctors were called in the middle of the night and did their best. They should've been resting but rushed over to help. Instead of thanks, they got blamed.
One doctor said, "This is our top expert. He came right away. We're sorry about your son, but there's nothing we can do. Even the best doctors might be powerless."
"That's nonsense. It's your fault. You took too long, and now he's worse. I'll sue you all!" Amy shouted.
Amy couldn't hear reason. She only knew Ryan was in trouble.
"If that helps, go ahead," the doctor said and left.
They were doctors, not miracle workers. Some things couldn't be fixed, no matter what.
They'd been working all day and rushed over for surgery. Ryan might not have a normal sex life, but at least he could use the bathroom.
The doctors left quickly, and Amy cursed, "What kind of attitude is that? I demand a transference to another hospital immediately!"
"Enough, aren't you embarrassed? Look at yourself," Patrick said, ashamed.
"Ryan's in this state, and you don't care? If he can't have kids, the Montgomery line ends!" Amy cried.
"I'll contact other doctors and find out who did this. For now, let's see Ryan," Patrick said.
Ryan was moved to a regular ward. Patrick walked over, and Amy followed.
Seeing Ryan in bed, Amy felt heartbroken.
Ryan was so young. If he couldn't have sex...
Amy cried all night, her face swollen.
Patrick contacted many experts. After reviewing Ryan's case, they all said it was hopeless.
Ryan had no hope.
The next morning, Ryan woke up. He saw Amy and Patrick.
"Dad, Mom, what happened to me..." Ryan tried to sit up.
His hands and arms were fine, but his reproductive organs felt numb.
Someone had ambushed him last night and hit him there. He wasn't sure if it was injured.
Seeing Ryan awake, Amy started crying again.
"Mom, were you scared? I'm fine, really. I can even get up and jump a few steps. Don't cry. When can I go home?" Ryan said.
Amy covered her mouth, speechless.
Seeing her reaction, Ryan sensed something was wrong.
"Mom, I need to use the bathroom. I'll be right back," Ryan said.
He got out of bed and walked to the bathroom, taking his phone with him, feeling uneasy. Could it be...
In the bathroom, he found his reproductive organs wrapped in bandages. He pulled out his phone and looked at some sexy pictures, but felt nothing.
How could this be!
He watched a few porn videos. Mentally excited, but physically...
His phone fell to the ground with a thud, and his face turned pale.
Outside, Amy was worried. After a long time, the bathroom door finally opened. Seeing Ryan's expression, Amy felt even more heartbroken.
"Ryan, you..." Amy hesitated.
"What did the doctor say?" Ryan asked, defeated.
Amy said, "It's not a big problem, Ryan. It can be cured. I'll find the best doctors in the world for you!"
"Ryan, tell me, who did this? I will avenge you!"
Ryan thought about it. The person who attacked him last night dragged him into the bushes and only targeted his reproductive organs. It seemed premeditated, aimed specifically at him.
Ryan shook his head. "I don't know. I don't know anything. The only people I had conflicts with yesterday were Grace and Xavier. And when I left the yacht, no one else knew. It must be the two of them!"
His fists clenched, hands trembling with rage.
Ryan gritted his teeth. If Grace were in front of him now, he might have torn her apart.
"Xavier? Isn't he your uncle? Could he do such a thing? Patrick, we need to get Xavier here. If he really did this to Ryan, he must explain!" Amy said.
"It can't be Xavier," Patrick said. He knew that If Xavier had done it, he wouldn't wait until now, and it wouldn't be so simple.
Xavier was ruthless, but he would take the high road. He wouldn't deny what he did. His methods are sinister, but not backstabbing.
"Then it must be Grace. She knew Ryan's whereabouts and timed it perfectly. Otherwise, how could it be such a coincidence that Ryan was attacked as soon as he went out? It must be Grace," Amy speculated.
"I told you that woman was no good. She's a jinx. Ryan has been unlucky ever since he met Grace. The car accident last time might have been her doing. Even if it wasn't, she's still a jinx, bringing bad luck to our family!"
"If it really was Grace, I will make her pay with her life!"
Amy hated Grace to the core.
When Grace got the news, she was still at home.
Angela was there too. She had heard about Xavier taking Grace to the banquet last night as his date.
Angela looked curious. "So, are you and Xavier officially together now? When can I attend your wedding?"
If they were really together, as Grace's best friend, she was actually the last to know!
