Chapter 104 The Kelly Family Isn't As Foolish As You Think
Linda pointed at her and snarled, "You shameless bitch! Do you know how much you've hurt Jack? You really think I'd let you marry into the Kelly family and regard you as my daughter-in-law?"
Pearl smirked, "Doesn't matter if you don't accept me, as long as Mr. Gerald Kelly do."
Jack wanted to slap Pearl but held back, fearing she'd cause more trouble for the Kelly family and Gerald.
Pearl looked at Jack and said, "What are you waiting for? Didn't you catch what Mr. Gerald Kelly just said? Take me home!"
Jack hated Pearl now. She'd embarrassed him in front of Jessica. He wanted to kill her, not take her home.
Jessica, fed up, said, "Pearl, I'll take you home. It's on my way."
Jack felt grateful to Jessica, thinking she was helping him out.
But Pearl glared at Jessica, "You were just making things hard for me earlier, and now you're pretending to be kind. Planning to harm me on the way home?"
Seeing the argument, Linda told Jack, "Let's go! Let the Evans family handle their mess!"
With that, she took Jack and left the Kelly house.
Jessica, irritated, said, "Are you coming or not? If not, I'm leaving."
After saying that, she walked out.
Pearl stomped her foot and followed angrily.
Outside the Kelly courtyard, Pearl stopped and demanded, "Where's your car? I'm carrying the Kelly family's grandson! I can't walk. I need a ride."
Jessica replied coldly, "I didn't drive today."
Pearl shrieked, "Jessica, are you doing this on purpose? You didn't drive, btu you said you'd give me a ride? You're just jealous!"
Jessica frowned, "Stop acting crazy. What's going on? Mr. Gerald Kelly isn't well; you shouldn't have caused trouble tonight."
Pearl said, "Gerald looks fine to me! Thanks to him, my marriage to Jack is settled. Don't think I don't know what you're up to, Jessica. You couldn't win James's heart, so now you're after Jack. How shameless! I've seen you pining for Jack. Do you even care about your reputation?"
Jessica, trembling with anger, slapped Pearl hard.
Pearl, furious, clutched her belly and shouted, "Jessica, how dare you hit me? I'm carrying the Kelly family's child!"
She raised her hand to slap Jessica back, but Jessica grabbed her wrist.
Pearl, nervous, said, "If anything happens to this child, you can kiss your place in the Kelly family goodbye."
Jessica pulled her closer, "Listen carefully. The Kelly family isn't as foolish as you think. Whether or not you're really carrying Jack's child, the situation is complicated. I'm advising you because you're my half sister. Otherwise, no one would care!"
Pearl shook her off and sneered, "Jessica, you're just jealous. You've been married to James for two years and haven't had a child. I haven't even married yet, and I already have Jack's child. Don't pretend to be kind! Once I marry into the Kelly family, you'll get what's coming to you!"
