James's tone left no room for negotiation. He said, "Admit to it and apologize to Jessica in person. Let everyone know that Jessica was wronged! If you don't go, I can go myself. With that, James threw down thirty dollars to pay the bill and walked away.
Cynthia's heart sank completely. She knew she was finished!
That evening, when James returned to the hospital, he heard Gerald saying he wanted to be discharged.
Jessica had been trying to persuade him for a long time, but it was no use.
Gerald was very determined and said, "Just let me go home. I know I was unconscious for another day yesterday. If I'm really not going to make it, I want to die at home. I've had enough of this hospital!"
