Chapter 205 Put All the Blame on Henry

James heard "presidential suite" and it hit him—he was in the presidential suite at the Skyline Club that day. Could it be? Was it him that night? His heart pounded like it was about to jump out of his chest.

He called Sean right away, but Sean said Henry was filming abroad and couldn't be reached. So, James called the manager of the Skyline Club.

The manager said, "Mr. Kelly, our surveillance was hacked that night, rendering us unable to retrieve any footage. But we have the suite registrations. There were two presidential suites, one south and one north. You were in the south, and Mr. Garcia had the north. He checked in; the records are clear."

James's heart sank. Did he and Jessica miss each other by just a few yards? They were in different suites, with different people.

Not giving up, James pressed, "Who took Henry's room that night? Didn't you say it was taken?"

"Mr. Kelly, according to our records, Mr. Garcia spent the night in the northern suite," the manager said cautiously. "He probably didn't want to take responsibility and didn't want Ms. Pearl Evans in his new movie, so he made up an excuse."

James imagined Henry with Jessica and felt a surge of rage. But Henry was a public figure tied to the Kelly Corporation, so he couldn't make a scene. If it blew up, Jessica's reputation would be ruined.

Furious, James looked at Joan and Pearl, the culprits.

Joan, understanding, crawled over, hugging his leg, begging, "Mr. Kelly, please spare us! Don't feed us to the sharks; we won't do it again!"

James kicked her away and told the manager, "These two women are yours. Make them the lowest of prostitutes. Make them regret everything."

Terrified, the manager agreed, "Don't worry, Mr. Kelly, I'll handle it."

The bodyguards took Pearl and Joan away.

"Mr. Kelly, we were wrong! No, please, no!" they screamed, but James was unmoved.

Inside the Skyline Club, the bodyguards took Pearl and Joan for their amusement.

In a dark corner, Rose watched coldly. She hadn't expected James to be so ruthless. Her eyes grew sinister. Jessica had won this round, but the battle wasn't over.

The manager approached Rose, smirking, "Miss Morris, good thing you modified the registration info and destroyed the surveillance."

Rose smiled, "He didn't suspect anything, did he?"

The manager chuckled, "No, Mr. Kelly might have suspicions, but he can't touch Henry. We put all the blame on Henry. Even if he denies it, Mr. Kelly won't believe him."
