Jack had no choice but to nod and said, "Alright, let's go to the garden behind the hospital and talk."

"Jessica, how have you been lately?"
Jack looked at her longingly and said, "I heard you divorced James. That's good. After all, you bravely took the first step."
Jessica frowned, not knowing what Jack meant.

She was afraid that saying the wrong thing would implicate James.

So, he decided to be blunt, "Since you're divorced, why repeat the same mistake and get involved with him again? Now that grandpa is dying, James wants to get the company, so he has to use you to please grandpa. But I know you're not that kind of person; you're just being used by him."
Jessica coldly said, "Visiting grandpa in the hospital is something I do willingly. He's been so good to me. It's only right for me to take care of him in his final days. No one is using me!"
