Chapter 538 You Be Gentle (4)
Jessica looked at him playfully and said, "Really? Then, Mr. Kelly, how about being my driver for life?"
James gazed at the pure and enchanting Jessica in his arms, unable to resist lowering his head to kiss her. With a mischievous smile, he said, "I'll only drive for you."
Jessica then realized the teasing in his words, and her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
James sighed softly and said, "Jessica, hurry up and have the baby. We haven't been intimate in so long."
Jessica's heart skipped a beat, her face full of shyness and a hint of guilt.
After all, at James's age, he was full of vigor, and making him wait this long was indeed difficult for him.
She hesitated for a moment and asked awkwardly, "Is it hard for you?"
"What do you think?"
James's deep eyes were filled with intense desire, and his voice grew husky. "With a beauty like you by my side, only to look but not touch, what do you think?"
Jessica thought for a moment, then slowly wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed his Adam's apple.
Even though she only teased him lightly, the tingling sensation immediately spread throughout James's body.
James's breath hitched, and he suddenly gripped her waist, his voice low and rough. "Do you know what you're doing? Jessica, if you keep teasing me like this, I really won't be able to hold back."
Jessica bit her lip and whispered, "If you're gentle, it should be okay."
She didn't want him to suffer like this, and she also wanted to be closer to him.
James suddenly scooped her up in his arms, gritting his teeth. "You're a woman who drives me crazy."
He looked at Jessica's flushed cheeks and said softly, "I'll be gentle, and we'll take it slow."
That night, they held each other tightly, feeling each other's heartbeats.
Jessica hadn't felt this secure and fulfilled in a long time.
Only James could give her this feeling.
The next morning, thinking about the passion of the previous night, Jessica still felt her face flush and her heart race.
Even now, James was holding her, kissing her, and not letting her get up.
"No, I’m going to be late."
Jessica protested softly, "A lot of people at the hospital know about our relationship now. I don't want them to think I got my position through connections. I need to work hard to silence the gossip."
James finally relented, his cool lips brushing her earlobe. "Jessica, whatever you do, I support you."
With that, Jessica hurriedly got ready, and James personally drove her to the hospital.
As she was about to get out of the car, James reminded her, "I'll be here to pick you up at eleven."
Thinking about how today was the day they were getting their marriage license, Jessica's face lit up with a happy smile. She kissed him on the cheek and said, "Got it, hubby."
Hearing her call him "hubby" made James's heart swell with joy. He pulled her back into his arms.
He took the lead, deepening the kiss, as if he could never get enough.
Jessica realized that being with the one you love makes everything feel blissful.
Even if it was just a moment, they couldn't bear to be apart.
Clearly, because of James's "entanglement," Jessica ended up missing the morning handover.
As she walked into the office, she happened to run into Nathan coming out.
Jessica felt a bit embarrassed and immediately admitted her mistake. "Sorry, Mr. Howard, I'm late."
