Chapter 40 The Torn Divorce Agreement

The nightgown was pushed up to Jessica's chest by James.

Jessica was suddenly exposed, completely visible to James.

She felt more embarrassed than anything else.

Even though they had already made love, it still felt somewhat unfamiliar to Jessica.

She could only passively endure it.

James's large hands roamed over her body,

wherever they touched, it felt like it was on fire.

Even the slightest touch made Jessica lose herself in it.

In just a moment, she snapped back to reality and struggled to push James away.

"James, are you crazy? Let go of me."

James ignored her and cupped her breasts with his hands instead, molding them into various shapes.

Not satisfied with just that, James pinched her nipples.

Jessica let out an involuntary moan.

Although Jessica didn't want to admit it, she didn't mind James's touch; she even anticipated it a little.

Sensing Jessica's arousal, James chuckled and took off his robe.

"Relax," James whispered into Jessica's ear, kissing her neck repeatedly.

Only when he felt Jessica completely relax did he fully enter her.

Both of them let out a satisfied groan, and then James quickened his pace.

James's heavy breathing and Jessica's moans filled the room.

An hour later, the room finally fell silent again.

Afterward, Jessica lay on the bed, completely exhausted.

In contrast, James looked refreshed.

Looking at Jessica, he said, "Go wash up."

Jessica snapped back to reality and realized she was still naked.

Embarrassed, she pulled the blanket over herself.

"You go first, I'll go after you're done."

She turned her back to him, not wanting to look at James.

Hearing footsteps behind her, Jessica thought James had gone to the bathroom, but the next second, she was lifted.

When she saw him, Jessica instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck.

James knew she was shy and didn't respond. He just carried her blanket and all, into the bathroom.

He gently washed Jessica, not noticing her flushed face.

If she weren't injured, she might have tried to escape, but now she felt like a lamb to the slaughter, completely at his mercy.

After washing her, James didn't immediately take Jessica back to the room but washed himself in front of her.

Finally, he carried Jessica back to the room.

Seeing the traces of their lovemaking on the bed, James decided to take Jessica to his bedroom.

Holding Jessica in his arms, he firmly said, "Sleep now!"

Then he closed his eyes.

Not feeling any resistance from Jessica, James felt very satisfied and quickly fell asleep.

The next morning, they were awakened by the sound of a phone ringing.

When he answered, Rose's crying voice came through, "James, my wound hurts so much. The dislocated area is all swollen. I had a nightmare last night, dreaming that your wife and her friends were beating me. I'm so scared."

"Rose, I'll be right there. If it gets too bad, call a doctor. Don't be afraid, okay?"

James whispered instructions, gently left Jessica's side, and quickly went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Jessica slowly opened her eyes.

She had actually woken up when James's phone rang.

His embrace was too warm; she didn't want to wake up from the dream.

But with one call from Rose, her dream shattered.

Jessica bitterly curled her lips.

"Are you leaving again?"

Jessica hated Rose but also envied her for being able to summon James with just one call.

As if making up her mind, Jessica got out of bed and took out the divorce agreement James had given her last time.

She hadn't signed it and had kept it by the bed, waiting for the day she had enough disappointment to leave.

"James, let's get a divorce. I'm letting you go!"

It took a lot of effort for her to stay calm and say those words.

Jessica handed him the signed divorce agreement, "If you sign it, we can go to the City Hall tomorrow to finalize the divorce."

A look of obvious surprise and even some regret flashed across James's face.

Then, suppressing his anger, he said, "What kind of tantrum are you throwing? Wait for me at home."

It wasn't until she heard the car engine in the courtyard that Jessica confirmed he had left the villa and got out of bed.

She quickly ran downstairs, but the divorce agreement she had just signed was nowhere to be found on the coffee table.

After searching for a while, Jessica finally found the torn divorce agreement in the trash can.
