Chapter 52 Being His Secret Lover
James was caught off guard by the scene and quickly turned away.
Michael, on the other hand, stood his ground, openly staring at the stunning Lily.
Lily panicked and tried to run, but in her haste, she let go of her towel.
Frozen in place, the towel dropped to her feet.
She felt like this was the most embarrassing moment of her life.
Jessica, shocked, yelled at Michael, "Why don't you close your eyes, you perv?"
She quickly grabbed the towel, wrapped it around Lily, and led her back to the bedroom.
Michael's eyes turned cold and calculating.
'Lily, how long do you think you can keep running?' he thought.
Snapping out of it, he patted James on the back and joked, "Alright, they're gone! Seriously, haven't you seen a woman before? Why act like a shy teenager in front of your wife?"
James shot him a look and said, "You don't get it. A wife's friend is off-limits. Besides, Lily is fierce. She even beat up Rose."
James didn't want to go into details.
Michael's expression grew more intense.
Meanwhile, in the bedroom.
Jessica kept apologizing, "Lily, I'm so sorry. If I hadn't forgotten to get you pajamas, this wouldn't have happened."
"Michael, that jerk! I want to gouge his eyes out!" Lily fumed, still embarrassed.
Jessica, thinking of Michael's behavior, added, "He doesn't act like a lawyer at all, more like a thug. Who would hire him?"
Lily sneered, "Didn't I tell you? He's a thug. The second time he met me, he wanted me to be his mistress."
"Seriously? I'm beautiful and rich. The man I marry should treat me like a queen, not some lawyer wanting a mistress."
After venting, Lily felt a bit better but still humiliated by Michael seeing her naked.
Seeing it was late, Lily said, "Jessica, I have to go. My dad hasn't seen me in days. If I don't go back soon, he might call the cops."
Jessica apologized, "Lily, your dad already knows. The lawyer's letter was sent to your house, and he saw it."
Lily felt a sense of dread. "What? He must be furious!"
Jessica reassured her, "Your dad's on a business trip. And since you were released without a record, he probably won't be too mad."
Lily sighed, "I still need to go back and behave for a while to calm him down."
As Lily was leaving, she told Jessica, "If James gives you any trouble or that mistress shows up, call me. I'll come to your rescue!"
