Chapter 601 His Questioning (1)

As James reminisced about the past, he felt a wild beast roaring uncontrollably within him.

Jessica's eyes widened, and she suddenly began to struggle violently.

But in the next second, James had her hands pinned behind her back.

His tall frame pressed her tightly against the elevator door, kissing her passionately, biting her lips.

He hated her, truly hated her. Why did she have to be so cruel and abort their child?

For the past five years, every time he thought about it, he wanted to drag her back and make her regret it!

But when Jessica actually appeared before him again, he realized he couldn't bring himself to hurt her.

Every voice in James's mind admitted that he missed her.

Thinking about how Jessica looked at him like a stranger, distant and guarded, James wanted to devour her whole. Jessica kept struggling, but her strength was nothing compared to James's.

At that moment, fragmented memories flashed through her mind like lightning, and past dreams seemed to flood back.

Jessica's head suddenly began to ache, her face contorted in pain, and she furrowed her brows tightly.

James felt her stop struggling and noticed beads of cold sweat forming on her forehead.

Alarmed, he immediately let her go.

"Jessica, what's wrong?"

James held her nervously, but fearing she might be faking it, he said coldly, "Don't pretend with me. We haven't resolved our issues!"

The next second, Jessica's vision went black, and she fainted.

James instinctively caught her, realizing she was genuinely unwell.

"Jessica! Jessica!"

He called her name desperately, but she didn't respond.

With no other choice, he scooped her up and rushed out.

At the hospital.

Jessica remained unconscious as the doctor performed an MRI scan.

James anxiously asked, "What's wrong with her? Why did she suddenly faint? And why does she seem to have forgotten me? Is she faking it?"

The doctor, after carefully examining the MRI results, said, "This Miss's brain appears to have suffered previous damage. There are old hypoxic lesions in her brain. This could be the cause of her memory loss."

"What?"

James gasped. How could he believe that Jessica had amnesia?

Where had she been all these years? Who had she been with?

How did she become a renowned cardiac surgeon?

Countless questions swirled in his mind, making him feel like his head was about to explode.

He immediately instructed Sean to investigate Jessica's past five years. He had to know what she had been through.

Why did she lose her memory?

Meanwhile, in a foreign lab, Nathan's private investigator stood before him, reporting on the situation back home.

When Nathan heard that Jessica had fallen into James's hands again, his gaze turned icy. He asked, "How did they meet?"

"James's son has a congenital heart condition. His current wife had a conflict with Susan, and Susan refused to treat her son. Because of this, James went to find Susan himself."

Nathan then recalled the arrogant woman Jessica had mentioned that day. So, that woman was Rose!
