Even though they were so close, Jessica felt that she was very far away from James.
The next morning, Jessica unusually did not get up early.
James was already washed and dressed. Seeing that she was still sleeping, he gently shook her and said, "Aren't you going to work today? It's almost seven-thirty."

Jessica asked suspiciously, "Are you hiding something from me?"
James found her silly look particularly adorable.
He didn't tell her in advance but instead took her hand and led her to the bathroom.
He personally squeezed toothpaste for her and filled a cup with water, saying, "Hurry up and wash up. I promise, the things troubling you will soon be over."
Jessica was caught between belief and doubt, but her curiosity was piqued. So, after obediently washing up, she went to the department.
Today she got up late, and by the time she arrived at the department, the morning meeting was about to start.
However, today's morning meeting seemed particularly different.
Besides Nathan standing in the middle, the hospital leaders were also there, including the director and several people from the medical office.
Cynthia stood next to the hospital leaders, her face ashen.

Nathan saw her and said, "Jessica, come over here."

Jessica had never expected that Cynthia would have a conscience and tell the truth today.
