Chapter 68 Jessica, I Want to Possess You

She sighed, "At today's award ceremony, I thought you finally believed in me, finally recognized me. Turns out, it was just the start of your humiliation. Whether you believe it or not, Jack and I are innocent. Even if I did have someone else, what right do you have to accuse me? Aren't you the same?"

James's face went blank; denying regret would be a lie.

He knew he had wronged her and made her suffer.

But even now, he still didn't know who Jessica was seeing.

James slowly let go of her, giving a bitter smile. "Seems you really love that guy, hiding him so well. I haven't found any clues."

Jessica didn't want to remember that awful night. She choked up, "Think whatever you want. It doesn't matter who he is to you. All you care about is your pride."

James suddenly grabbed her shoulders and pushed her onto the bed.

His stern face showed a hint of cruelty. He snapped, "Then remember, if you're going to hide him, hide him well. Don't let me catch him. Otherwise, he'll regret touching my woman!"

Jessica, controlling her pounding heart, retorted, "Rose is your woman!"

The next second, James's lips silenced her, swallowing all her words.

Jessica pounded on him, but her strength was no match for James.

James caressed her face with one hand while the other intertwined their fingers.

His burning kisses roamed over her lips, and Jessica felt frozen, her mind blank, only able to follow his lead.

Later, his voice, as seductive as a nightmare, whispered in her ear, "Jessica, I want to possess you."

Jessica suddenly woke up and pushed away the hand that was trying to explore under her skirt.

But James was relentless, determined to have her tonight.

He whispered in her ear, "Be good. Give yourself to me. I am your husband; this is something we should have done long ago."

Jessica was now fully awake. She struggled desperately and yelled, "No, we can't do this. James, I am not your plaything, nor am I a tool for you to vent your desires."

James stopped, his hands still propped on either side of her, his deep eyes staring at her. "If I really treated you as a plaything, I would have possessed you long ago. I wouldn't seek your opinion, nor would I consider your feelings!"

Jessica looked at him with tear-filled eyes and choked up, "Are you considering my feelings now? The person you want to possess is not me. You've long planned to divorce me, so why treat me like this? If you possess me, will you take responsibility for me? Will you cut off contact with Rose?"

James fell silent, got up from her, and sat on the edge of the bed.

Jessica bitterly tugged at the corner of her mouth, "Yes, you won't. You know we will divorce in the future, yet you still want to do this to me. If this isn't playing with me, what is it?"

James was rendered speechless by her words and nodded, "You're right, but Jessica, we are not divorced yet, so you can't do anything to betray me!"

Jessica couldn't help but say, "You only allow yourself to do it, not me! When you were with Rose, did you think about the fact that you weren't divorced yet? That you were still a married man?"

"When did I make love to her!" James roared but didn't explain further.

The only time they were together was after he had been drugged with an aphrodisiac. When he woke up, Rose was in his bed, and he couldn't even remember the details of that night.
