Lonnie was startled by Rose's reaction.

James sighed in relief. Susan was like a ray of sunshine in their darkest hour, giving them a glimmer of hope.
He would definitely find a chance to thank her in person in the future.

"Mr. Kelly, I'm really sorry."
Lonnie said, "Today, Mrs. Kelly had some unpleasant interactions with our doctor Susan. They were like fire and water, and despite my efforts, Susan still refused to treat your child. I'll try to persuade her again in a few days when she's calmed down. Is that okay?"
James asked in disbelief, "What did you say? Susan refused to treat Isaac?"
