"Gerald has been hospitalized for at least a week, and Jessica and James have been personally taking care of him every day."
Rose pinpointed Linda's weakness and said, "Do you know what this means? Maybe, when Gerald dies, James will divide up all of The Kelly Family's assets, and you won't even know. Perhaps, you and your son will get nothing!"
Linda listened in fear; what Rose said was exactly what she was afraid of.
Her attitude softened from the arrogance she had earlier, and she asked uncertainly, "Did James tell you this?"
"So what if he did?"
Rose let out a mocking laugh and said, "You can't even protect your son, and you still plan to fight James? Even if you do fight him, with his temper, it's unlikely he'll give you much."
Linda became anxious and asked angrily, "Then why did you come to me? Are you going to help me for no reason? Speak up! What's the condition?"
Rose curled her lips and said, "I like talking to smart people like you. It's very simple. I'm pregnant with James' child, but he's afraid of upsetting Mr. Kelly and won't let me say anything. "Since I'm already carrying a Kelly Family child, I think, even if Gerald doesn't like me, he won't let me and the Kelly Family's child wander outside," Rose said confidently. "What are you doing here?" Gerald frowned.
He had told James to keep the news sealed.

George was the first to speak, "Dad you got sick and hospitalized, and you didn't even tell us?"
