Michael finally turned around, his deep eyes like an unfathomable cold pool, and said, "Since you're being obedient, call your friend and let's have dinner together."
After all, for James's sake, he didn't want to take action against the Evans family.

Lily didn't understand why Michael was so insistent on letting Jessica know about their relationship.

Then she turned to James and said, "Let's not go home yet. Can you take me to Golden Plaza? Lily has come to her senses and wants to meet me."
James found it a bit strange.
Just a moment ago, Lily didn't want to discuss the Stewart family issue with Jessica, and now she suddenly changed her mind?
Feeling uneasy, James said, "How about I go with you?"
When they arrived at a restaurant in Golden Plaza, both James and Jessica were stunned.
Because not only was Lily there, but Michael was also present.
James immediately realized that it wasn't Lily who had come to her senses, but Michael who wanted to make Jessica uncomfortable.

So, James took Jessica to the address Lily had given.
Entering the restaurant, they saw Lily sitting by the window, her head down, seemingly lost in thought.
"Lily."
Jessica called out to her, and she snapped back to reality.
Seeing Jessica and James together, Lily's expression became stiff, neither crying nor smiling.
"You're here."
Lily pointed to the seats opposite her and said, "Sit down, I've already ordered the food."
Seeing Lily's haggard face and weak voice, Jessica felt an immediate pang of sorrow.
"Lily, where are you staying now?" Jessica choked up and said, "I'm so worried about you. Please tell me, what's going on?"
At that moment, Michael came out from the direction of the restroom and casually sat down next to Lily.
He casually draped his arm over Lily's shoulder, smiled at Jessica and James, and said, "No need to worry, I'm handling the Stewart family situation."
