Chapter 51 Very Sexy
Lily's interruption threw Jessica off, and she forgot to grab a change of clothes for her.
Jessica knew she was terrible at cooking, and with Olivia off for her son's wedding, she had no choice but to order a bunch of Lily's favorite takeout. She headed to the kitchen to make some orange juice.
Before long, Lily's sultry voice came from the kitchen door, "Jessica, how do I look? Am I sexy?"
Jessica turned and was shocked, "Oh my God, why are you dressed like that?"
Lily did look incredibly sexy. Her curly hair cascaded over her shoulders, and the white towel barely covered her thighs, showing off her long, straight legs and curvy figure.
Lily rolled her eyes, "It's your fault. I asked for pajamas, and you didn't bring me anything. I had no choice but to come out like this!"
Jessica couldn't help but stare, "Do you eat a lot of papayas to get that figure?"
"I'm naturally beautiful. I've been well-developed since I was young," Lily teased, "Look at you. People would think you're still in high school."
Jessica pouted, "What are you talking about? Watch out, or I'll hit you!"
They were laughing and joking when the doorbell rang.
Jessica said, "It must be the takeout. Wait here, let's eat first."
She figured it didn't matter how they dressed since it was just the two of them at home in this hot weather.
But when she opened the door, she was stunned.
James was standing there, and beside him was another man.
James introduced him, "This is my friend, Michael Watson."
Michael, probably James's best friend, had only recently found out that James was married and had been for two years. He looked at Jessica's stunned expression with a mocking smile.
All of James's old friends knew about him and Rose. This Mrs. Kelly was just a facade, a prop for families like theirs. She didn't even have the chance to be in the spotlight, so her status was obviously low.
Jessica remembered Lily's description of this hypocrite. Birds of a feather flock together!
She blocked the doorway, not letting them in.
James said, "Let us in. We have something to discuss."
Thinking of Lily in just a towel in the kitchen, Jessica got nervous. What if they saw her? How would Lily face anyone after that?
"Anyway, you can't come in right now."
Jessica insisted, still blocking their way but too embarrassed to explain why.
James's face darkened. Did Jessica think he wouldn't come home today and bring a man back? She looked guilty and nervous!
Even Michael mocked, "James, your wife seems to be in an inconvenient situation. Is there someone else in the house?"
At that moment, the takeout arrived. The delivery person handed her a large bag and said, "Enjoy your meal."
James looked down and saw two servings of coffee. He was about to push Jessica aside to see what was going on inside.
Lily's voice came closer, "Jessica, I'm starving. Where's the takeout?"
Jessica wanted to stop her, but it was too late. Lily, wrapped in just a towel, appeared in front of them.
Lily screamed, "Ah! Why are they here?"
