Chapter 113 You're My Wife, My Money Is Yours

Jessica held the black card and grinned, "Don't worry about it. If you like it, buy everything here. I 'm curious to see how much this card can handle. Can I max it out?"

As expected, Rose's face soured. She spat through clenched teeth, "James's money is his. He earned it through hard work. What does it have to do with you?"

Jessica rolled her eyes and retorted, "My husband's money has nothing to do with me? Does it have something to do with you, an outsider?"

Rose trembled with anger but couldn't respond.

Lily quickly picked out a bunch of items, and the total was already over a million dollars.

Jessica smirked at Rose's jealous face and said, "Don't you love to snatch things? Go ahead. But remember, when James sees his second wife blowing through his money like this, he might start having second thoughts about you!"

Rose, shaking with rage, pointed a shaking finger at her, "Jessica, you're desperate, aren't you? Trying to burn through James's money before the divorce. Fine, let's see how long you can keep it up!"

She stormed off in her high heels, thinking, 'Jessica's out. I'm already living in their house, sleeping in her bed! I'll show her how James and I will love each other forever!'

Jessica's face grew colder. Lily couldn't help but say, "Jessica, that was awesome! That homewrecker deserved it."

Jessica remained silent. Inside, she felt nothing but a profound, chilling coldness.

Lily noticed her mood and asked cautiously, "Do you still want these?"

Jessica said gloomily, "Yes, why not. I've been married to him for two years and asked for nothing. What did I get in return? Maybe being good doesn't pay off anymore."

She told the clerk, "I'll take all of these!"

The clerk was thrilled, not expecting such a big sale today.

At Kelly Corporation, James's phone buzzed with transaction notifications.

Though over a million dollars wasn't much to him, he wondered what Jessica bought to spend so much. Could it be a scam?

He called Jessica.

Hearing her voice on the phone, his heart trembled, filled with a mix of regret and guilt.

He regretted what happened. He shouldn't have forced her into anything and caused her so much pain.

James softened his tone, "Where are you?"

Jessica replied coldly, "What's up? I'm out shopping."

James realized she was shopping. Spending that much made sense. He wasn't angry; he was in a good mood.

Jessica then asked, "By the way, I used your card. You don't mind, do you?"

James chuckled, "You're my wife. My money is yours."

There was a long silence before Jessica said gloomily, "Soon, it won't be. By the way, didn't you say last time Sean would bring me the divorce papers? When exactly is he going to bring them?"
