Chapter 171 Remember Whose Woman Are You

Jessica was shocked, her heartbeat racing.

James grabbed her chin, sneering, "Wow, fighting over jealousy at the ball! Two sisters from the same family, both willing to be played with?"

Jessica slapped his hand away, yelling, "Don't make it sound so dirty! James, even if I'm being deceived, by whom and how is none of your business!"

"Really? Let me show you how much it is," James sneered, pulling her closer.

In one swift move, he spun her and pinned her against the cold door.

"James, you—" Jessica's voice faltered. She couldn't believe he'd put her in such a compromising position, especially with people possibly walking by. The audacity and risk made her heart race with fear and frustration.

But as their eyes met, his mix of lust and cold determination was clear—James didn't care about boundaries. He'd do whatever he wanted, societal norms be damned.

Before she could protest, his lips crashed onto hers with punishing intensity, silencing her. The kiss was fierce, driven by anger and desire, leaving her breathless.

She pushed against him, but he pinned her wrists high against the door.

A knock sounded from outside.

"James, are you in there?" Rose's gentle voice came through.

The knock sent a shiver down Jessica’s spine. She was pinned, barely able to move, with Rose just a thin door away.

James picked her up, and she clung to him like a koala as they moved to the sofa.

Jessica bit her lip, afraid to make a sound. Her eyes were misty, silently begging James to let her go.

James's lips brushed her earlobe, his tone cruel, "Today, I must ensure that you remember to whom you belong."

Jessica clung to his shirt, enduring his demands.

The knocking stopped, but Jessica stayed silent, her lips nearly bitten through.

She was James's wife, but it felt like an affair now.

She knew she couldn't escape from James like this.

She resigned herself, enduring his demands and humiliation.

Tears slid down her cheeks.

Finally, James was satisfied and let her go. He calmly tidied his clothes.

Jessica gave a bitter smile. She had been humiliated, barely clothed, while he remained impeccably dressed.

Jessica cried miserably, losing her initial stubbornness.

Seeing this, James felt a bit of heartache.

He sat back on the sofa, pulling Jessica onto his lap, helping her straighten her dress.

Jessica shivered, wanting to push him away or slap him. But she felt powerless, like an ant at his mercy. So she held back her anger and humiliation.

James saw her in this manner, thought she had become obedient.

He fixed her hair clip, softening his tone, "I didn't plan to bring Rose here. She came to find me, and I was surprised too."
