At Gerald's insistence, James had no choice but to go to Rose and bring her over.
On the way, Rose couldn't contain her excitement and said, "James, did Grandpa ask to see me?"
"Yes," James responded in a low voice, his brows furrowed in thought.
Rose smiled and said, "See, I told you, Grandpa at his age just want to see his great-grandson, right? Even though Grandpa didn't like me before, people's views change over time."
James sighed and said, "Don't be so optimistic. From what I know about Grandpa, things are probably not that simple. When we get there, think carefully before you answer any of Grandpa's questions."
Rose agreed repeatedly, but her mind was already imagining herself becoming the matriarch of the Kelly Family.
If she became the head of the Kelly Family, she would be better than Jessica!
All the way, Rose planned how to talk to Gerald and how to get him to accept her smoothly.
At the hospital, James pushed Rose into the ward.

She smiled gracefully and said, "Grandpa, I bought these especially for you."
"Just put them there."
Gerald glanced at her and said, "What doesn't the Kelly Family have? Why go to all this trouble?"

Gerald snorted coldly and said, "Miss Morris, your clothes, bags, the house you live in, and the studio in the city center, which of these isn't from the Kelly Family? Is this your effort, or are you using the Kelly Family's money to 'honor' the Kelly Family?"
Rose's face immediately changed, and for a moment, she was at a loss, looking to James for help.
But Gerald didn't give James a chance to speak for her and said, "James, leave. I have something to say to Miss Morris."
"Grandpa."
James looked at him worriedly and said, "What exactly do you want to do?"
Gerald snorted coldly and said with a mocking smile, "What? Are you afraid I'll eat Miss Morris?"
Seeing this, Rose quickly followed Gerald's words and said gently, "James, just listen to Grandpa. It's okay, don't worry."
In the end, James didn't dare to anger Gerald and had to leave the ward anxiously, waiting at the door.
After he left, Gerald finally looked at Rose, who was sitting in the wheelchair.

Gerald sneered and said, "Your tricks may fool James, but they can't fool my eyes."

He didn't want to see his great-grandson at all; he was here to avenge Jessica!
