Jessica argued, "He did send you to Bangkok, but that was because you did something wrong and embezzled public funds. Besides, you were just sent to the Bangkok branch; you didn't face any lawsuits, and no one took everything from you!"
Jack's eyes flared with anger, "Yes, I embezzled public funds! But for whom? Wasn't it all for you? Now you're putting all the blame on me. Is that fair to me?"
Jessica coldly said, "Actually, you think that by getting me, you can deliver a fatal blow to James and prove you're better than him, right? But Jack, it's useless. Ability and talent are recognized by people. If you can't win people's hearts and can't command respect, they will never truly look up to you."
Her words hit Jack's sore spot.
Immediately, Jack, like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, suddenly walked up to her.
