She absolutely couldn't let this happen.
If James met Jessica again, everything she had painstakingly built over the past five years would be ruined!
She knew clearly that even after five years, James still hadn't forgotten Jessica.
Rose forced a smile and quickly said, "That doctor is pretty stubborn. Last time, even the hospital leadership couldn't get her to budge, let alone us. I'll go find her myself tomorrow. I'll get there early and wait in line to show my sincerity. Doctors probably appreciate patients who show sincerity, so she won't take out her dissatisfaction on our Isaac."
James thought for a moment and agreed. "Make sure you go early tomorrow and see this Susan. The company is too busy right now, and I can't leave. If she refuses to help Isaac, I'll figure something out or go talk to her myself."
Rose's heart raced, feeling like she was walking on the edge of a cliff, her life hanging on James's whims.
For now, she had to handle this herself and get Susan to prescribe the new medication for Isaac.
Only then would James not think of meeting Susan.
Luckily, Jessica had lost her memory. Otherwise, even if she begged her, Jessica might not save Isaac.
The next morning, Rose went to Ocean City Hospital.
Jessica's clinic was always packed, but fortunately, she had Cameron go early to hold a spot in line.
When Rose appeared in front of Jessica again, Jessica's brow furrowed immediately. She said coldly, "Didn't you understand what I said before? This is my work time. Please leave, or I'll call security."
Rose felt that Jessica was being incredibly arrogant!
But now, she had no choice but to beg her. They would settle this later!
So, Rose swallowed her anger and forced a smile. "Susan, don't be hasty. I waited in line for a long time to see you today. After I went back last time, I regretted it deeply and wanted to come apologize."
Jessica secretly mocked her. She must have found out that the new drug was effective and came to beg for her child's sake.
She saw no sincerity on Rose's face, only endless hypocrisy.
"Susan, please accept this. It's a small token of my appreciation."
With that, Rose took out a bank card and placed it on Jessica's desk.
Jessica's gaze lightly fell on the card, then she looked at Rose and said, "There are cameras in the clinic. Watch your behavior. I accept your apology, but take the card back. You can leave now."
Rose's face stiffened. This bitch was clearly brushing her off and making things difficult!
She took a deep breath and said, "Susan, you haven't heard me out yet. I came to apologize first, but also because my son is really suffering!"
"There are many suffering people in the world. I'm not God."
Jessica sneered. "Blame it on having a mother like you. Patients can choose their doctors, and doctors can choose their patients. Sorry, but I won't treat your son."
Rose could no longer maintain her smile. She snapped, "Don't be ungrateful! When someone shows you respect, you should accept it! In Ocean City, no one disrespects the Kelly Family!"
