Chapter 251 Rose's Career Is Ruined (2)
Rose was shaking with anger but also feeling guilty, scared John might spill more dirt right here.
She swallowed her rage and forced a smile. "Mr. Evans, I think you got it wrong. How about you chill in the lounge? I'll catch up with you after this class."
John scoffed, "Well, why? Let's hash it out right here, in front of your students, in front of their parents. Spill the beans about you and James!"
John wasn't budging, hell-bent on exposing Rose.
As they argued, the parents started catching on.
One parent gasped, "Oh my God, Ms. Morris, is this really how you are? I was wondering, so young and no connections, how did you manage to open a dance studio in such a prime spot?"
Another parent added, "Didn't think you'd be a homewrecker. From now on, our kids aren't taking classes here. Don't want them picking up bad habits."
Another chimed in, "Exactly, this is bad for our kids!"
Parents started yanking their kids and leaving. Some even threatened to spread the word so others wouldn't get duped by Rose.
One by one, parents and students left the studio, leaving just Rose and John.
Rose couldn't hold it in anymore and snapped, gritting her teeth. "Did Jessica send you? Now my rep is trashed. Happy now?"
John stood firm, enunciating every word, "Your reputation is earned, not given! I suggest you abort the kid and stay away from James. Otherwise, society will just look down on you. Even if you have the Kelly family's kid, no one will respect you!"
Rose let out a cold laugh and retorted, "Do you teach your daughters the same values at home? Huh, It's funny, I remember your younger daughter once dreaming of marrying into the Kelly family with a kid."
Mentioning Pearl made John squirm, but he didn't back down. "Yeah, I didn't guide my younger daughter well. She didn't get what she wanted and had to deal with it. That's why I'm telling you to stop now. Homewreckers never end well," he said.
Rose's smile grew icier. "Mr. Evans, haven't seen your daughter in a while, huh? Pearl might be a piece of work, but she's still your kid. Don't you wanna know where she is now?"
John's heart skipped a beat, and he asked, "What do you mean? How do you know so much about my family?"
Being her dad, he had no idea where Pearl was. How did Rose know? But he didn't get the answer he wanted.
Rose sneered and called security, saying someone was causing trouble.
When the security guards tossed John out, she told the security captain, "he understands this is my turf. Your security here is no joke. If he shows up again, it'd be a shame if you all lost your jobs."
The security guards, catching Rose's drift, dragged John to a nearby alley and gave him a good beating.
