Nathan's face looked a bit grim. After all, James was Jessica's ex-husband.
Even though Jessica said she was divorced, such a young and beautiful Jessica still had a deeply memorable past with James in front of him.
Nathan's gaze was not as calm and gentle as usual; instead, it hinted at coldness. He said indifferently, "Jessica is my student. How I teach my students doesn't seem to require your opinion, Mr. Kelly."
James's eyes were burning with sparks, and an invisible tension was brewing between the two men.
Jessica quickly ran to James and whispered, "What are you talking about? I chose to work overtime myself. Mr. Howard didn't ask me to."
James glanced coldly at Nathan and said, "Well then, Professor Howard, please teach my wife during work hours and don't delay our time together."
With that, he grabbed Jessica's hand and was about to leave.
Nathan knew that in his current position, he could only watch as James took her away. He didn't even have the right to stop them.
But Nathan couldn't stand James's arrogant attitude. After all, he had never been treated like this before.
So, before they left, Nathan said meaningfully, "Mr. Kelly, Jessica has been having stomach issues and vomiting frequently. I know you're a business elite, busy making money, but sometimes you need to care for your wife. It's best to take her to see a doctor before it gets worse."

He glared at Nathan with hatred and left the cardiology department with Jessica.
Outside the office, Jessica struggled to free her hand and looked at him angrily.
James thought of Nathan's words and asked, "What's wrong with you? Is it true that you've been vomiting frequently?"
He felt a bit guilty. Nathan had only been with Jessica for a short time and already knew she was often vomiting.

Jessica looked at the road outside and said, "This isn't the way home."
James drove and said, "Yeah, we're going to your place."
