To prevent Jessica from interfering in The Stewart family's affairs, James said, "I think it would be better to invite Lily over for dinner. You can give her the gift then. What do you think?"
Jessica smiled in surprise, looked at him, and said, "How strange, you usually don't like Lily. Why are you so considerate of her today?"
James concealed the unusual look in his eyes and said, "After all, she's your friend. I want you to be happy."
Jessica nodded and said, "Then it's decided! Let's invite both Lily and Kylie over. I think they should meet; they'll definitely like each other."
James pinched her cheek and said, "As long as you're happy."
The plane landed just at dusk.
Jessica immediately started contacting Lily and Kylie to see if they were free that evening.
But Kylie said she was on the night shift and couldn't get away.

He looked around and asked, "Olivia, where's Jessica? Tell her to come down for dinner."
While setting the table, Olivia said, "Mrs. Kelly just went out to see a friend. She said she wouldn't be home for dinner."
"See a friend?"
James suddenly felt tense and asked, "Did she say who she was going to see?"
Olivia thought for a moment and said, "I think it was Miss Stewart, because she mentioned she'd give Miss Ramirez's gift to her tomorrow during her internship. She must have gone to The Stewart family to give Miss Stewart her gift first."
"Damn."
James's expression darkened. He quickly grabbed his car keys and rushed out the door.
When he drove up to The Stewart family's house, Jessica was extremely surprised.
Seeing the renovation workers busy inside and outside The Stewart family's house, Jessica thought they had suddenly started renovating.
