Chapter 115 Alaric Humbling Himself to Coax Cecilia

Cassius glanced around the room, looking at Dominic lying on the ground, barely alive.

He turned to look at Alaric, then glanced at Cecilia in Alaric's arms. He noticed that Cecilia was well-protected by Alaric, her clothes covering her completely.

So, Alaric had asked Cassius to wait at the door not because he was afraid Cassius would see him being too brutal, but to prevent Cassius from seeing Cecilia naked?

Cassius thought to himself, 'Since when did Alaric care so much about his image in front of me? It turned out it was all for Cecilia.’

"Okay." Cassius dared not object and agreed immediately.

Alaric carried Cecilia and strode away.

Cecilia stayed nestled in Alaric's arms.

At that moment, she inexplicably felt a sense of dependence, not wanting to leave his embrace.

Alaric placed Cecilia into the car parked downstairs. Then he got up to leave.

Cecilia almost blurted out something but held back. She watched Alaric walk to the driver's seat and say to the driver, "Get out."

"Yes, sir." The driver responded respectfully.

Alaric sat in the driver's seat and drove back himself.

The entire way, both of them were silent.

Alaric's face was grim. He wore a stern expression that made people afraid to approach.

Cecilia didn't know what to say at that moment.

Thinking about what happened tonight, she felt uneasy.

One day, she would make Dominic pay back double for everything she had gone through!

The car arrived at Alaric's villa.

Alaric stopped the car. Cecilia opened the car door herself. Alaric also got out from the driver's seat.

They walked into the hall one after the other.

In the hall, George was still cleaning. Seeing them return, especially Alaric, he greeted them warmly, "Mr. Whitaker..."

Seeing Alaric's expression, his voice stopped abruptly.

He quickly turned to look at Cecilia, seemed to want to know the answer from her.

At that moment, Cecilia had no intention of explaining anything. She just silently went upstairs.

After everything that happened tonight, she felt she needed time to process it.

She walked upstairs and into her room.

As she was closing the door, Alaric suddenly held the door open.

Cecilia stared at him.

It was clear that Alaric was in a very bad mood tonight; his face looked terrible.

She really didn't want to provoke Alaric.

Alaric used some force and pushed Cecilia into the room.

Cecilia took a few steps back.

Alaric rushed into Cecilia's bathroom, seemingly to run a bath.

He came out and said to Cecilia, "Go take a bath!"

Cecilia pursed her lips.

In fact, the first thing she wanted to do after coming back was to take a bath.

So, although she was a bit annoyed by Alaric's bossiness, she obediently walked into the bathroom.

She took off the black suit Alaric had put on her.

Underneath the black suit was a tattered piece of clothing, and her bra was nowhere to be found. She was practically exposed.

She stood naked under the shower, scrubbing her body hard.

Then, she meticulously cleaned herself.

Thinking about being kissed by Dominic made her feel utterly disgusted.

She washed for a long time.

She scrubbed until her skin was red before she finally stopped, put on a clean bathrobe, and walked out of the bathroom.

Outside the bathroom, in Cecilia's bedroom, Alaric was still there.

He sat coldly on the sofa, watching her walk out with water droplets still on her body and her hair unblown.

His eyes were cold as he stared at her. He kept staring at her.

His gaze made Cecilia feel uncomfortable.

If she had known he was still in the room, she would have dressed properly before coming out, instead of casually wearing a loose bathrobe.

She tried to calm herself and said, "Thank you for tonight. I'm fine now, you can go back to your room."

"I have something to do." Alaric suddenly said.

Cecilia frowned.

What did he possibly need to do?

Tonight, he was the one doing the beating.

Could it be that he hurt his hand from hitting too hard?!

While Cecilia was puzzled, Alaric suddenly approached her, and before she could react.

Then, Cecilia's lips were suddenly kissed by Alaric.

Cecilia's eyes widened as she looked at Alaric.

She felt that this man had suddenly become dangerous.

She instinctively resisted, pushing against Alaric's body.

Alaric's dominance, his strength, his determination made Cecilia feel that he was even more dangerous than Dominic!

So, she had escaped Dominic, But now she couldn't escape Alaric!

She was pinned down on the bed by Alaric.

Alaric's lips moved from her lips to her body.

"No!" Cecilia resisted.

She really didn't want this.

They could make love any other time.

But not now, at least not now when she had just escaped from Dominic's disgusting clutches. She didn't want to feel that Alaric and Dominic were the same kind of person.

The quiet room.

The rising temperature seemed to turn cold again.

Alaric wrapped Cecilia's bathrobe tightly around her.

Then he got up from her.

He saw her tears streaming down her face.

His throat moved slightly.

He hadn't intended to go any further.

However, thinking about the marks Dominic had left on her body made him angry and jealous, wanting to erase them out of spite.

He hadn't expected that he almost lost control.

Seeing Cecilia's tears, he finally softened.

His long fingers wiped away her tears. "Why didn't you cry when Dominic kissed you?"

Cecilia opened her eyes, looking at the man in front of her with tear-filled eyes.

She saw the desire in his eyes just now, now replaced by coldness.

She bit her lip.

She didn't know why, but when Dominic did those things to her, all she felt was hatred, no heartache.

However, when Alaric did this, she felt heartache to the point of numbness.

"Stop crying." Alaric's voice was noticeably warmer.

But Cecilia couldn't control herself.

Clearly, she had told herself in this new life never to shed a tear again.

Never to let herself be soft.

But now, because of Alaric, she was crying her eyes out.

Alaric comforted her, "I really won't do it again, please stop crying."

Cecilia turned her head, clearly not trusting his words.

"It was my fault just now. I shouldn't have treated you like that." Alaric began to apologize, somewhat awkwardly and clumsily.

After all, in his life, he had never bowed his head to any woman, and he had never treated a woman so humbly.

He was afraid of hurting her feelings.
