Chapter 534 Meeting Alaric (4) Protecting Cecilia
How could Cecilia ever forget him?
Cecilia just stared at Alaric.
He was right there, but it felt like he was miles away.
"One minute left," Dominic chimed in from the side.
He was loving this dramatic reunion between Cecilia and Alaric.
He wanted to see Cecilia and Alaric, even if they loved each other, unable to be together.
He wanted to drive them crazy!
"Go back early," Alaric urged.
With just one minute left, he told her to go back early.
It felt like he had really given up.
Cecilia's vision blurred.
She knew Alaric didn't want her to see him like this.
So she bit her lip and turned to leave.
"Wait," Dominic suddenly called out.
Cecilia shot him a cold look.
Dominic walked over to her and said to Alaric, "Cecilia is so beautiful. Even without you, she can still have plenty of suitors."
Cecilia knew what he was doing.
He was trying to provoke Alaric.
Dominic's behavior was beyond disgusting.
"Come on, show Alaric how attractive you are to others," Dominic said to Cecilia, his tone filthy.
Cecilia bit her lip hard.
"Aren't you two married?" Dominic looked at Cecilia, who didn't move, clutching her clothes tightly.
"Why are you still so shy?" Dominic said sarcastically, feeling proud of himself for toying with them.
Ever since Cecilia married Alaric, Dominic had been under their thumb, enduring it all until now.
Finally, he could torment them as he pleased.
"Well, it's been a month since you last saw each other. It's normal to feel a bit estranged," Dominic continued his twisted game.
Cecilia glared at him, fully aware of his sinister tactics.
Dominic knew she saw through him.
But what could she do about it?
From now on, killing her and Alaric would be as easy as squashing a bug.
Dominic said, "Let me help you."
"Dominic!" Cecilia finally couldn't hold back and shouted.
The memory of Dominic stabbing her in the past life, the torment he inflicted on her, mixed with his current deliberate humiliation, made her want to kill him.
Her eyes were bloodshot.
Dominic saw it and felt immense satisfaction.
Cecilia finally had her day.
Finally, it was his turn to torment them to his heart's content.
Dominic's face, twisted with excitement, loomed larger and larger in Cecilia's eyes.
She clutched her coat tightly.
But the strength difference between a man and a woman meant Cecilia couldn't stop Dominic's actions.
So at that moment, with a forceful tug, Dominic ripped off Cecilia's coat.
Even in the dim light, the bite mark on Cecilia's neck were clearly visible, red and bruised.
Alaric stood not far away, his fists clenched and his eyes fierce.
Dominic was very pleased with his work. He looked at the bite mark and said in a disgustingly smug voice, "Does it hurt?"
Cecilia really wanted to kill Dominic.
"I should have been gentler," Dominic said, feigning regret, but his eyes were full of pride.
He reached out, approaching Cecilia's neck.
Cecilia instinctively moved away, but Dominic grabbed her hard.
Cecilia couldn't move, just glaring at Dominic.
Dominic didn't care.
In fact, the more Cecilia broke down, the more satisfied he felt.
He said, "Let me blow on it for you."
His sickening voice, which made Cecilia's stomach turn, sounded right next to her ear.
She had expected Dominic to do unimaginable things, but she hadn't thought he would deliberately humiliate her in front of Alaric.
She could accept anything Dominic did, but she couldn't bear Alaric watching.
She didn't care about her so-called reputation, but she couldn't bear to see Alaric's sadness.
She was furious, incredibly furious... but in that moment, she didn't resist.
She would prefer Alaric to believe she was willing, than to let him witness her pain.
If she was in pain, he would only feel worse.
But in the end, Alaric was still the man who, no matter what happened, would always protect her with his life.
So when Dominic's lips approached her neck, Alaric quickly came to Cecilia's side, using all his strength to kick Dominic away and protect Cecilia in his arms.
The speed was so fast that neither Cecilia nor Dominic could react.
When they did, Dominic had a moment of shock.
Alaric's broken body had reached this point, yet he could still unleash such power.
After being kicked by Alaric, Dominic couldn't stand for two seconds.
The pain made his body convulse.
Alaric had clearly endured without resistance during the month of deliberate torture and beatings.
He had assumed that Alaric had zero fighting ability.
Moreover, Alaric had a severe stomach condition.
Of course, he only found out after Alaric was imprisoned!
He had people give Alaric one meal a day to keep him alive, causing his stomach condition to flare up, often leading to stomach bleeding.
His body was almost at its breaking point.
Dominic never thought Alaric could still explode with such force.
Enduring the pain, he pretended to be calm and stood up straight.
It must be an act.
Everything Alaric was showing now was an act.
Dominic walked over step by step.
Watching them holding each other tightly, he laughed coldly.
So, he really did care this much about Cecilia being so close to another man!
