Chapter 714 Chaotic Situation (19) Cooperation

"Wait a moment," Dashiell called out to Cecilia.

Cecilia turned to look at him. 'Shouldn't they let Francis know first, to give him some time to prepare?'

"Francis knows we're coming. No need to notify him separately," Dashiell explained, noticing Cecilia's confusion.

Cecilia's eyes flickered. She quickly understood.

Francis had been specially trained over the years. His abilities were naturally far beyond those of ordinary people, and it was no surprise that he could anticipate many things.

"We were specially trained back then," Dashiell continued. "I'm sure Alaric has told you a lot about how Cassius, Alaric, and I grew up being trained. I won't go into details. When we finally left that training base, the last test was to rescue Francis. It was also in this villa, with many guards. In the end, the three of us passed the test."

Cecilia felt that nothing could surprise her anymore.

They had sacrificed so much for the Whitaker Royal Family's plan.

She said, "Alright, I'll follow your lead."

She didn't want to become an obstacle to their revenge.

Dashiell didn't say much more and asked, "Do you know how many people are left in this villa?"

Cecilia was silent for a moment before slowly saying, "About 30 people. I have a rough idea of their distribution. I'll draw it out for you."

"Okay," Dashiell nodded.

Cecilia found some paper and a pen in the room and detailed the layout for Dashiell.

This morning, after Gideon left, Cecilia had deliberately walked around the villa several times to understand how many people were left. She had anticipated that someone might come to rescue them and wanted to provide some reference. She didn't expect it to actually come in handy.

Dashiell listened carefully to Cecilia's words, admiring her wisdom and composure.

Most people wouldn't think of so much in such an environment, let alone make such comprehensive plans.

After Cecilia explained the villa's situation in detail, Dashiell said, "Now go to Francis's room and tell him I'm here, and we're ready to leave. With only 30 people in the villa, Augustus and I can cover your retreat without much difficulty."

"Okay," Cecilia didn't ask more questions and didn't want to.

She just wanted to trust Dashiell and hoped they could all escape safely.

She took a deep breath and was about to open the door.

"Cecilia," Dashiell suddenly called out to her.

"What?" Cecilia's heart raced.

It would be a lie to say she wasn't nervous.

But it was all just Cecilia's facade.

She had been pretending well, but Dashiell's sudden call almost scared her to death.

"Don't be afraid," Dashiell said with a smile, seeing Cecilia's expression. "Although I'm mainly protecting Francis, your safety is also my responsibility. I won't let you get hurt."

Cecilia shook her head.

She wasn't afraid Dashiell would abandon her; she was just instinctively nervous.

"A weapon," Dashiell didn't waste time and handed her a black handgun.

Cecilia looked at the gun, visibly stunned.

"For your protection," Dashiell said, "Hopefully, you won't need to use it."

Cecilia gritted her teeth, took the heavy black handgun, and hid it in her clothes.

Dashiell gave Cecilia a look and quickly concealed himself in the room. Cecilia opened the door.

Outside the door, two guards stood watch, eyeing Cecilia warily as she stepped out.

Cecilia remained calm, not even glancing at the guards, and walked straight to Francis's room.

As she moved, the guards at the door followed her.

Cecilia stopped at Francis's door.

Two guards stood at the door, watching Cecilia with wary eyes but saying nothing.

"I'm here to see Harry," Cecilia said directly.

The guards remained unmoved. Cecilia didn't waste words and knocked on the door.

The guards stared at Cecilia but said nothing.

The door opened.

Francis, in his pajamas, looked a bit lazy.

There was another guard in his room, watching his every move all the time.

Cecilia glanced at him and said, "I need to talk to you."

Francis's eyes flickered.

It seemed he instantly understood Cecilia's purpose.

He smiled slightly, "Come in."

Cecilia nodded.

She entered and turned to Augustus, saying, "You stay outside."

This was to have Augustus coordinate with Dashiell.

The door closed.

Cecilia gave Francis a look.

Francis understood.

He casually walked towards the guard who was watching him. The guard, feeling uneasy with Francis's approach, asked, "What are you doing?"

"Do you really have to watch?" Francis asked.

The guard remained stern and silent.

"If you must watch, then watch," Francis said with a cold smile.

He walked towards Cecilia.

He picked her up and carried her to the bed.

Cecilia felt a bit helpless. Using this method again?

Francis's eyes told her it was the only way.

Cecilia acquiesced.

Cecilia and Francis hid under the covers on the bed.

The guard beside them felt a bit awkward.

Seeing the intimate scene between Cecilia and Francis, he relaxed his vigilance a bit.

He took out a cigarette and walked to the balcony.

He was afraid that if he watched Cecilia and Francis make love, he wouldn't be able to control himself.

With the high-intensity work recently, he hadn't been with a woman for a long time.

He smoked on the balcony.

Just as he sensed something was wrong behind him, he turned around to find Francis already close. A sharp blade between Francis's fingers sliced through the guard's carotid artery.

Blood splattered everywhere.

Cecilia was terrified.

She turned away, unable to look.

Francis coldly watched the guard go from shock to fear to despair to death.

Some blood had splattered on him.

He said, "Wait a moment, I'll change my clothes."

Cecilia nodded.

She couldn't find the words to say.

She wasn't afraid of Francis; she was just wondering what they had gone through to become so indifferent to life.

Francis quickly changed his clothes.

He said, "Dashiell will take no more than ten minutes to kill the guards outside."

Cecilia silently nodded.

She trusted their coordination.

Sure enough, within ten minutes, there was a knock on the door.

Francis opened the door to find the guards outside dead. Dashiell and Augustus stood at the door, glancing at the dead guard inside. Dashiell said, "I'll clear the way downstairs for you. Augustus will protect you to the secret passage."

"Okay," Francis nodded.

Dashiell didn't waste a second and left first.

Francis, Cecilia, and Augustus followed Dashiell downstairs.
