Chapter 172 All Men in the World Are Equally Disgusting

Cassius agreed with Rebecca and got up to leave. He admitted it—he loved chaos, especially when it involved Alaric. He also wanted Cecilia to know that Alaric was popular with many women, so she shouldn't be so smug.

"Cassius," Alaric called out suddenly. Cassius was already standing, and Rebecca had happily sat next to Alaric. Alaric's sudden call made Rebecca's face sour.

"Help me to the restroom," Alaric ordered. Cassius was speechless. 'Is Alaric really that scared of Cecilia?' He should let Cecilia see his charm! But Cassius still helped Alaric up. Alaric, using a crutch due to his fracture, left with Cassius. Rebecca watched them go, gritting her teeth, and chased after them.

Cecilia noticed but chose to ignore it. "Your husband and his admirer just left together!" Seraphina pointed out, trying to get a reaction from Cecilia.

"I can see that," Cecilia said, focusing on the runway.

"That's it?" Seraphina was frustrated by Cecilia's indifference. If it were her, she would have started a shouting match.

"Pick out the dresses you like, I'll buy them for you," Cecilia changed the subject.

"What?" Seraphina was distracted by Cecilia's offer.

"You like those dresses, right? I'll buy them for your wedding," Cecilia repeated.

"Really?" Seraphina was excited, forgetting her indignation. Such a carefree girl.

"Definitely," Cecilia confirmed.

"Can I have them all?" Seraphina asked eagerly. She liked every single one.

Cecilia just looked at her. Seeing Seraphina really wanted them all, she nodded reluctantly. Everyone knew the high-end limited edition dresses from Harmony Threads were outrageously expensive.

"Can you also cover all the suits for my future husband?" Seraphina pushed her luck. Cecilia regretted making the offer. Seraphina was shameless.

At that moment, Cecilia glanced at Sebastian. He always had a refined smile, but she knew his intentions with Seraphina were bad. Cecilia shifted her gaze back to the runway, feeling a bit distracted. Did Alaric just leave with Rebecca?

Seeing it was still early, and the final product would be delayed, Cecilia got up and walked towards the restroom. Dominic followed her, having observed their every move all night. He had suffered too many losses with Cecilia before to act rashly, but that didn't mean he couldn't discover some facts.

Dominic always found Alaric and Cecilia's interactions tonight odd.

Cecilia headed to the restroom. As she got closer, she saw Alaric and Rebecca standing intimately. Rebecca's hands were on Alaric's suit, and she was leaning against him, moving closer to his lips. From Cecilia's angle, she couldn't tell if they were kissing.

She remembered Rebecca visiting Alaric in the hospital a few days ago, just as close. If she hadn't interrupted then, who knows what would have happened. She thought avoiding trouble was best, so she turned to leave. After all, their marriage was a sham.

As she turned, Alaric's sharp, cold gaze met hers, making her heart tremble. Alaric was the one cheating, yet she felt guilty? She gritted her teeth, looking away. Then she saw Dominic nearby. If she left now, Dominic would be smug, thinking her marriage was miserable. She couldn't accept his disdain.

So, she walked towards Alaric and Rebecca. Alaric's eyes shifted slightly. Cecilia stopped behind Rebecca and said, "Do I need to pull you away, or will you let go of my husband yourself?"

Rebecca's face soured at Cecilia's voice. She could tell Cecilia was here from Alaric's reaction. Only Cecilia could make Alaric's emotions so obvious.

"Looks like I need to help you," Cecilia said, pulling Rebecca away from Alaric with surprising strength. Rebecca stumbled back but quickly tried to get close again.

"I advise you not to," Cassius's voice came from the side.

Rebecca clenched her fists, glaring. Cecilia glanced at her, then focused on Alaric's lips. His perfect lip shape was undeniably sexy. No wonder Rebecca couldn't resist. Even though she didn't like him, she felt an urge to kiss him.

Alaric was indeed a devil. What could she blame Rebecca for?No one could resist him.

Cecilia reached out, her fingers touching Alaric's lips. Despite his dangerous charm, his lips felt incredibly soft.
