Chapter 527 Setting a Trap (3) Dominic's Loss of Control Over Cecilia

Dominic was fuming at Cecilia's words.

Just a moment ago, while he was entertaining guests inside, one of his guys whispered in his ear that Cecilia had shown up, and his face instantly went tight.

He clenched his jaw as he glared at Cecilia.

But he had to admit, she had him cornered.

If he kicked her out now, he knew exactly how she'd spin it to the media. He'd end up looking like the jealous bad guy again, mocked by everyone. Now that he was married to Lyra, he couldn't afford any bad press; otherwise, the Monroe Family might just pull their support!

Cecilia saw the look on Dominic's face and smirked confidently. "I'm here to attend your wedding and boost your image. Soon, the media will be praising you, saying you're generous and forgiving, qualities that will lead to great things."

Dominic was livid.

Cecilia kept smiling. "My presence is good for you."

"You think I'd believe that?" Dominic shot back.

"Even if you don't, you have no choice but to let me stay. You might as well let me in and show everyone how magnanimous you are!"

Dominic glared at her coldly.

Right now, he was totally trapped by Cecilia.

Cecilia pulled a gift from her handbag. "I've even brought a present. I won't make things hard for you."

"What do you really want?" Dominic was at his breaking point.

"Isn't it obvious?" Cecilia raised an eyebrow. "I want to see Alaric."

"No way!" Dominic snapped.

Cecilia's face fell a bit.

"I don't care what you're thinking right now, but if you want to see Alaric, forget it!" Dominic harshly shook off Cecilia's arm.

Dominic added, "Cecilia, don't think you can mess with me or cause trouble. Lyra's feelings for me are stronger than you can imagine; you can't break us!"

With that, Dominic turned and walked away, not wanting to waste any more time on her.

Cecilia watched him leave and quickly grabbed him.

Dominic pushed her away, but Cecilia gritted her teeth and grabbed him again.

As Dominic raised his hand, Cecilia lost her balance in her high heels and suddenly fell into Dominic's arms.

Her soft body twisted in his embrace.

At that moment, Dominic felt like he'd been hit by lightning.

Caught off guard by Cecilia's sudden move, he froze.

Cecilia seemed oblivious, still trying to steady herself, her whole body pressed against Dominic. Her thick coat slipped off her shoulders, revealing her delicate neck, slender shoulders, and the striking red of her dress.

Dominic's eyes flickered.

He just stared at her, feeling the impact of her body on him.

He never thought he'd be so turned on by Cecilia.

He knew he should push her away.

At this critical moment, he couldn't let her get so close.

But his body desperately wanted her.

A person's instinctive reaction could cause them to lose a certain sense of reason in an instant.

Dominic suddenly shoved Cecilia away, but not to let her go. Instead, he pinned her against the wall and kissed her wildly.

Cecilia was caught off guard by Dominic's kiss.

Even though it was part of her plan, she still felt disgusted and repulsed by his touch.

So, when Dominic tried to deepen the kiss, she used all her strength to push him away.

Dominic, not getting what he wanted, wasn't about to give up.

After being pushed away, he quickly closed the distance again.

He forcefully pinned Cecilia against the wall, ready to take things further.

"Lyra!" Cecilia suddenly shouted.

Dominic's burning desire was instantly extinguished, like a bucket of cold water had been thrown on him.

Holding Cecilia, he suddenly felt like he was holding a hot potato and quickly let go, stepping back in a flash.

Cecilia watched Dominic's panicked and even fearful expression with a calm demeanor.

Dominic quickly turned to look at the hallway entrance.

But the door was tightly closed, showing no sign of anyone.

His initial tension gradually turned into anger, and his bloodshot eyes glared at Cecilia, realizing she had deliberately scared him.

And his earlier embarrassed state was all seen by Cecilia.

"Cecilia!" Dominic clenched his fists, veins bulging.

"Dominic, I'm doing this for your own good. After all, with so many people outside, who can guarantee that no one will come in? If someone finds out what you're doing to me and it gets out, do you think you and Lyra can still be together?" Cecilia reminded him.

Dominic's expression turned extremely sour.

Cecilia smiled smugly and added, "I thought you hated me to the core and had no interest in me. But I didn't expect that without me doing anything, you were already so eager. Dominic, don't tell me you've fallen in love with me."

"Stop flattering yourself! I'm just a man, and men have instincts. It would be the same with any woman!" Dominic shouted.

"Really?" Cecilia smiled faintly. "I don't know why, but except for Alaric, I feel disgusted whenever any man gets close to me."

"You!" Dominic was furious.

His face turned sinister, and he stopped talking to Cecilia, turning to leave!

One day, he would make Cecilia beg for mercy under him!

His heart suddenly skipped a beat.

Thinking of Cecilia under him, he started to feel aroused again.

Cecilia watched Dominic's back as he slammed the door and left.

At that moment, besides anger, there was also a sense of retreat.

She knew Dominic too well.

He loved conquering women he couldn't conquer, as it showcased his prowess.

Clearly, her current rejection would only make him want her more!

Then she watched as a man, Dashiell, emerged from a hidden spot in the emergency exit.

She had deliberately delayed in front of the reporters to let Dominic know she was here.

She had deliberately walked slowly on the red carpet to make Dominic come out and block her, then take her to the nearest secluded emergency exit.

Everything was a trap she had deliberately set.
