Chapter 803 Lyra Visits Again

Seraphina returned to her office.

She plopped heavily into her chair and let out a big sigh.

Damn it.

She was almost scared to death just now.

She felt like her little heart couldn't handle the rapid heartbeat.

Fortunately.

Dashiell didn't kick her out directly.

She was still shaken.

Seraphina swore to herself that she would never act so impulsively again.

She adjusted her emotions and opened the blue folder Dashiell had given her.

As soon as she opened it.

All the dense work inside was sorted out for her.

Even which projects needed to start when and which projects needed to be reviewed when, everything was planned out clearly for her.

If Dashiell hadn't given it to her personally, she wouldn't have believed it was Dashiell who did it for her.

He had almost planned out half a year's work for her.

With everything planned out, all she had to do was follow his plan.

Damn it.

That bastard Dashiell.

He had planned everything out but still deliberately embarrassed her today. If he had given it to her earlier, there wouldn't have been today's awkward incident.

Although Seraphina cursed him, she was inexplicably touched.

Dashiell had actually considered so much work for her, something she couldn't have thought of even if she studied for many more years.

Seraphina looked carefully.

She meticulously read through the work arrangements Dashiell had given her from beginning to end.

The more she read, the more she admired Dashiell.

No wonder Atticus liked Dashiell so much back then.

If she were the boss, she would also try to please Dashiell.

Dashiell was simply a business genius.

As Seraphina read Dashiell's work arrangements, she also sorted out her own work.

Once she got busy.

She even forgot to leave work.

Until someone suddenly knocked on the door.

"Come in," Seraphina responded.

Dashiell pushed the door open and entered.

Seraphina was still sorting out her work and didn't look up at him.

"Do you understand it?" Dashiell's deep voice asked her.

Seraphina was startled.

She suddenly looked up at Dashiell.

Why did Dashiell rarely come to see her?

She quickly replied, "I'm studying it."

"Stop studying it for now, leave work early," Dashiell said directly.

Seraphina was stunned again.

Was Dashiell concerned about her?

Was he telling her to leave work early and rest, to take care of her health?

Did she benefit from today's farce?

Seraphina imagined various scenarios.

"Go accompany Cecilia," Dashiell said.

Seraphina pursed her lips.

She knew she was being self-indulgent.

How could Dashiell suddenly change his attitude towards her?

"What's wrong with Cecilia?" Hearing Cecilia's name, Seraphina was still a bit nervous.

"Alaric left Serenovia City, and she's alone at The Whitaker Villa."

"Alaric." Seraphina paused.

She knew Alaric was Dashiell's cousin.

If she badmouthed Alaric now, wouldn't she be asking for trouble?

She changed her tone, "Did Mr. Whitaker return to Astralton City?"

"Yes," Dashiell replied.

Seraphina's thoughts were clear to him.

"Then I'll go to Cecilia right away," Seraphina said eagerly.

Dashiell nodded.

He didn't say anything more and left Seraphina's office.

Seraphina quickly tidied up her desk and left work.

She had actually wanted to visit Cecilia for a long time.

But because there was so much work, she was always busy, and every time she wanted to go, it was already late at night, and she didn't want to disturb Cecilia's rest.

Seeing that it was 8 PM, she was startled.

She had been so busy with work that she forgot the time and even forgot to eat.

She touched her stomach, feeling a bit hungry.

She drove to Cecilia's villa.

Seraphina was really angry for Cecilia. Alaric was so shameless, yet Cecilia still lived in his house.

If it were her, she would have cried and made a fuss.

What she didn't know was.

What she could think of, Cecilia had already done.

It just didn't work.

The only difference was that Cecilia was too rational.

She knew very well what the bottom line was and what could be touched.

So she wouldn't really lose control.

Seraphina arrived at The Whitaker Villa.

There were still many guards.

Fortunately, she was on The Whitaker Villa's whitelist, so she didn't need permission and walked in boldly.

She originally wanted to surprise Cecilia.

But she felt Cecilia gave her a shock instead.

She saw another woman in the villa's hall, and the woman looked a bit arrogant.

Why was Lyra here?

Lyra obviously saw Seraphina suddenly appear and looked disgusted, her voice full of displeasure, "Why is she here?"

Why was she here?

Cecilia's place, and she couldn't come?

Seraphina was furious and shouted at Lyra, "I should be asking you that, why are you here? How dare you come here!"

"I'm here to discuss something important with Cecilia!" Lyra said coldly.

"Important? What important thing? To tell Cecilia that your sister is a mistress? No need to come all the way, the whole country knows Juniper is a mistress!"

"Seraphina!" Lyra roared.

No matter how good her upbringing, it was hard to endure in front of Seraphina.

"My ears aren't deaf, no need to shout so loudly." Seraphina looked fearless and deliberately said, "Suddenly, I think ancient times were better, people back then had integrity. Unlike now, the family of a mistress can still come and act all righteous. In ancient times, mistresses were despised, and their families would be shamed!"

"Seraphina, that's enough!" Lyra probably couldn't take it anymore.

At that moment, she went crazy.

If it weren't for her status, Lyra would probably have fought with Seraphina.

"What, angry out of shame..."

"Seraphina," Cecilia called her.

Seraphina was speechless.

Dealing with a malicious woman like Lyra, she shouldn't give her any dignity.

But since Cecilia spoke, she didn't want to make Cecilia unhappy.

Seraphina endured and sat next to Cecilia, not saying anything.

Lyra was really infuriated by Seraphina.

But she didn't come today to argue with Seraphina, she didn't want to waste her precious time, she really had something to discuss.

She adjusted her emotions and said, "Cecilia, I want to talk to you alone."

She obviously wanted to send Seraphina away.

Cecilia refused outright, "Seraphina doesn't need to leave."

Lyra's eyes tightened.

"Ms. Monroe, if you don't mind, please speak. If you do mind, then please choose another day."

Meaning, she wouldn't send Seraphina away for her.

Either you wait until Seraphina isn't here, or you come another time.

Such disrespect for Lyra.

Lyra's suppressed anger was about to explode at any moment.

She glared at Cecilia.

Cecilia, even in such a situation, how could she still be so arrogant!
