Chapter 50 The Grand Wedding 8 Isadora and Dominic's Intense Conflict

Isadora stared disbelievingly at Dominic.

"What did you say?"

He accused her of using drug on him when he seduced her that night.

Isadora's eyes were red as she shook her head repeatedly. "I didn't."

"Lair!" Dominic's tone was stern. "That night, while Cecilia was away, you put aphrodisiac in my drink, got me drunk. You offered to take me back, and then forcibly had sex with me! Isadora, you're younger than me, I've always treated you like a sister, how can you do this to me?"

The more Dominic spoke, the more distressed he appeared.

Dominic seemed to convey unbearable pain to everyone.

Isadora stared at him with widened eyes, shocked by his baseless accusations and humiliation in public.

With a trembling voice, she retorted, "You were the one who said you had been noticing me for a while, that you liked me, and that's why we had sex. And now you're accusing me of drugging you. Dominic, I gave you my virginity, and now you're falsely accusing me like this!"

"I kept my virginity for Cecilia all these years, and you've ruined it all! Isadora, if I had known you were this kind of woman, I wouldn't have given you a chance to come near me! Now I truly regret it. The thought of having been intimate with you was unbearable; I wish I could just die."

"Dominic!" Isadora lost control, screaming, "You hypocrite, you bastard! I must have been crazy to fall for you!"

"If I had known you liked me, I would never have approached you." Dominic's voice was firm.

Dominic's demeanor clearly showed his disdain for Isadora.

Isadora was trembling with anger, pointing at him. "You changed so fast! This outfit I'm wearing was a gift from you! You said it was a new design from Harmony Threads, that you had put in a lot of effort to get it for me, and that you wanted me to outshine Cecilia in front of everyone."

"That outfit is not from us." A female voice suddenly emerged from the darkness. "Don't defame our brand. Our chief designer is on leave this season, and we won't be launching any new designs for now."

All eyes turned toward the voice.

"I'm James, the design director of Serenely. I can confirm here that we did not release this dress." James spoke clearly and decisively.

For a top brand, being associated with counterfeit goods was unacceptable and a violation of Serenely's dignity.

Isadora became even more frantic, glaring at Dominic. At that moment, she completely broke down in a fit of rage. "Dominic, you lied to me. You said this dress was from Harmony Threads, making me wear a knockoff and look like a joke!"

"Enough!" Dominic's expression turned extremely unpleasant. "What nonsense are you talking about? When did I give you a dress? Furthermore, where do you get the confidence to think you're more outstanding than Cecilia? You are nothing compared to her."

"Dominic!" Isadora truly lost it.

She rushed towards Dominic uncontrollably, grabbing at his clothes and hair, ready to fight him.

It wasn't surprising that Isadora was driven to irrationality by Dominic.

Isadora was very self-centered. She thought that all men in the world should like her and that she would be the center of attention.

However, at this moment, being falsely accused of seducing Dominic and wearing what she thought was a prestigious dress that turned out to be fake, Isadora wanted to die.

With thoughts of death, she no longer cared about her image.

Seeing Isadora's frenzy, Cecilia took a step back.

Whether Isadora wanted to hit or kill Dominic, she didn't want blood on her!

Of course, they couldn't fight.

Vincent quickly separated Isadora from Dominic.

His face was also filled with extreme displeasure.

He was truly embarrassed.

Isadora never lost her cool to this extent.

At this moment, she seemed like a madwoman. Vincent almost wanted to strike her down.

Under Vincent's restraint, Isadora continued to resist. "Dominic, I'll kill you!"

Dominic's face also turned extremely unpleasant.

Even though Isadora had only scratched him a few times, there were visible nail marks on his face and neck, several buttons torn off his clothes, and his hair was in disarray. He looked truly disheveled, a far cry from his usual refined appearance.

"Let go of me, Dad, let go of me!" Isadora screamed.

"Enough!" Ophelia shouted sternly.

Isadora was afraid of her grandmother; once she lost her temper, no one in the family dared to speak up.

"Is it not embarrassing enough? Take her back and put her in confinement!" Ophelia ordered coldly.

Vincent knew it was shameful to stay there any longer. He glared at Dominic and took Isadora away.

Isadora continued to resist until her voice faded completely.

Cecilia watched in the direction Isadora left, then turned to Juliana, who had been by Isadora's side the whole time.

Seeing Juliana's cold smile, Cecilia felt a chill.

At that moment, Juliana seemed to realize that Cecilia knew everything.

As if Cecilia had seen through her long ago.

She gritted her teeth, trying not to hide her emotion.

"Cecilia." On stage, Dominic seemed to stabilize his emotions and faced her with a loving expression.

However, his current disheveled appearance made it hard for anyone to believe in him.

If Dominic saw his current state, he would probably be furious.

"You saw just now, Isadora is a madwoman, she's capable of anything. Can you believe me?" Dominic reached out, attempting to hold her hand again.

Cecilia subtly moved her hand, avoiding his.

Dominic felt awkward, his arm stiff in mid-air, offering him no dignity in front of so many people.

Suppressing his anger, he said, "Cecilia, didn't you say you would forgive me?"

As he spoke, he let his arm drop.

Cecilia's lips curled up slightly as she replied, "But I didn't say I would marry you."
