Chapter 391 Cecilia Teaches Vivienne a Lesson

"No way! You think you can pull one over on me like that? Eloise and I are in love! She'd never team up with Dominic to screw me over!" Andrew shot back, totally not buying it.

Cecilia just laughed, like Andrew was the biggest idiot she'd ever seen.

"Why would Eloise be into you? You rich? You some kind of supermodel? She's been with Dominic for years, and you think she got where she is on her own? Come on, Andrew, why would she even look your way?" Cecilia said, not holding back.

"Shut up! Cecilia, just shut up!" Andrew was losing it. "If Eloise and Dominic were in on it together, why's she locked up too?"

"Because she's dumb too! She knew Dominic was using her but didn't cover her own ass. Now all the dirt's on you, and Dominic's walking free!" Cecilia shot back.

"No, I don't believe it! I won't believe your one-sided crap!" Andrew was in shock.

"Believe it or not, doesn't matter. Your life's trashed, and I don't need to explain your stupidity to you!" Cecilia was done arguing. She was just here to rub it in. "Let me break it down for you: leaking trade secrets gets you at least three years. With your mess, ten years is a given!"

"Cecilia!" Andrew growled through clenched teeth.

A ten-year sentence would wreck his life!

"No! Please, you gotta help me. I can't do that long in prison, I just can't! Cecilia, we're family, and I'm the last Lockhart. Without me, the Lockhart name dies. You're killing our family line here," Andrew begged.

"Andrew, you know the dumbest thing you ever did? It wasn't getting played by Eloise. It was thinking you were hot stuff just 'cause you were the only male Lockhart. You got cocky, never learned a thing about business, and turned into a total fool!" Cecilia's words cut deep.

Andrew felt completely humiliated.

Since he was a kid, he thought he was the big shot, the only heir, always looking down on everyone. Even with bad grades and no skills, he still thought he was better. That arrogance made him blind!

Now, in front of Cecilia and everyone else, he had to face the truth—he was a joke.

"And even if you are the only male Lockhart, so what? Besides your parents and grandparents, who cares about your 'male identity'? Just 'cause you can puff up in front of them, you think that means anything to the rest of us? Honestly, your so-called identity means squat to me!" Cecilia sneered.

She really couldn't stand how Andrew had wasted his life!

"Enough!" Andrew couldn't take it anymore.

No one had ever talked to him like that before.

Andrew knew he was lacking, but no one had ever called him out so harshly!

He couldn't handle Cecilia's insults.

"I don't have time for this," Cecilia said, totally unfazed by Andrew's anger.

She turned and walked away, leaving Andrew fuming in his cell.

He wanted Cecilia's help, but he wasn't getting it!

He was completely crushed!

He knew everything Cecilia said today, including Eloise's betrayal, was true.

He just didn't want to admit it!

He couldn't do ten years in prison.

After ten years, he'd be done for!

Cecilia didn't care at all.

Pitiful people always have something about them that's just plain awful.

Andrew didn't deserve anyone's sympathy.

If he was just dumb, she might forgive him, but being a jerk was unforgivable.

She walked out of the detention center.

Just as she reached the door, she saw Vivienne, who looked like she'd been crying her eyes out.

Vivienne probably never thought that after Vincent got locked up, Andrew would end up in the same place.

Seeing Cecilia, Vivienne lost it.

Maybe she heard that Cecilia was the one who reported Andrew, and she lunged at her.

Cecilia's eyes narrowed.

Augustus stepped in, blocking Vivienne and holding her back.

Vivienne screamed and cursed, "Let go of me! What right do you have to touch me? Let go!"

"No way!" Cecilia shot back.

Cecilia's face darkened at Vivienne's loud outburst.

"Did Cecilia pay you off? Did she sleep with you to make you her lapdog?" Vivienne was losing it.

Cecilia's face turned ice-cold.

Rose, standing nearby, couldn't take it anymore.

She wanted to step in and smack Vivienne herself.

At that moment, Cecilia walked right up to Vivienne.

With all her strength, Cecilia slapped Vivienne hard, leaving her stunned!

Vivienne stared at Cecilia, totally shocked that she'd been slapped.

"Cecilia, you bitch..."

Cecilia slapped her again.

The hit was so hard, Vivienne's face swelled up instantly.

"Cecilia, are you crazy? You actually hit me, I'll fight you to the death, I'll kill you..." Vivienne screamed.

Cecilia slapped her again, staying silent.

Every time Vivienne cursed, Cecilia slapped her back.

Cecilia kept slapping her until she shut up.

After three slaps, Vivienne was noticeably quieter.

Vivienne couldn't say a word.

She just glared at Cecilia, not daring to make a sound.

Cecilia rubbed her palm, realizing that hitting someone also hurt.

She wondered what kind of twisted mentality made people take pleasure in the pain of others.

She said, "Not cursing anymore?"

Vivienne was pushed to her limit by Cecilia, but she couldn't say a word.

"Vivienne, a few years back, my mom suffered enough from you and your grandma's bullying. Consider these slaps a lesson. Watch your mouth from now on. If you dare to disrespect me or my mom again, I'll make sure you stay quiet for good!" Cecilia threatened.
