Chapter 761 The Frustrating Seraphina
In the quiet room.
Lily fed Maxwell.
At this moment, Nola also returned to the room.
Lily handed Maxwell to Nola.
Nola said, "Mrs. Blackburn, the midnight snack is ready."
"Thank you." Lily was always polite, "Then you stay with Maxwell and put him to sleep."
"Okay."
Lily left Maxwell's room.
Cassius looked at the already drowsy Maxwell, thinking that Maxwell had just fed and was so comfortable that he had fallen asleep.
They walked out of the bedroom together.
Lily headed to the dining room.
Cassius followed behind her.
Lily thought, it's the middle of the night, isn't Cassius going to sleep?
They walked into the dining room.
Cassius plopped down in front of the midnight snack, "You still remembered to prepare a midnight snack for me, knowing I didn't eat enough tonight."
Lily and the servant exchanged glances.
Then they both tacitly agreed.
Cassius took a couple of bites of the oatmeal in front of him and commented, "It's a bit too soft and sweet, pay attention next time."
"Yes, Mr. Blackburn," the servant reluctantly replied.
"Is there more?" Cassius asked after wolfing down a bowl.
"Only one serving was prepared," the servant said awkwardly.
"Remember to prepare more next time, how could you forget my appetite?"
"Yes," the servant was extremely embarrassed.
He couldn't help but glance at Lily.
Lily also hinted not to say more.
"Let's go," Cassius said to Lily, "back to the room."
Going back to the room had become Lily's nightmare.
Especially since she was still a bit hungry.
But she had no choice but to follow Cassius's steps.
Back in the room.
Cassius got into bed first.
Lily washed up briefly.
"Lily, do you have OCD?" Cassius lay in bed, watching Lily busying around, and couldn't help but complain.
She didn't have OCD.
It's just that whenever Cassius was around, she inexplicably wanted to wash herself more.
Of course, not for making love with Cassius.
Just felt that she was a bit dirty.
"Hurry up and come to bed," Cassius urged.
Lily, this woman, just couldn't stop.
Was she really that energetic?
Wasn't tonight enough to exhaust her?
Thinking about the moment he came out of the shower and found the room empty, he inexplicably felt a bit irritable.
Didn't Lily know to wait for him in the room? Where did she run off to?
Later, seeing her feeding the baby, he didn't mind as much.
"Okay," Lily responded.
She was indeed extremely repulsed in her heart.
But she still got into bed and lay beside Cassius.
Cassius hugged Lily tightly.
Lily's body stiffened.
"Don't get any ideas, I'm too tired tonight." He had indeed been a bit too indulgent earlier.
It seemed like it had been a long time since he had been like this.
Now he felt like he had no strength left in his body.
Lily, this woman, still had so much energy?
Damn it.
Cassius thought he might need to exercise more.
Hearing Cassius's words, Lily, in his arms, finally relaxed a bit.
She was really afraid Cassius had any other ideas.
If he did.
She would really die on this bed.
In the quiet room.
There was only the sound of Lily and Cassius breathing.
"Maxwell is my son's nickname, has he been given a formal name?" Cassius suddenly asked.
At that time, Lily was almost asleep.
Cassius's voice startled her.
She quickly opened her eyes, "What?"
"I asked if my son has been given a formal name?"
"No," Lily replied, "Dad hasn't been back for a long time. He said he wanted to give him a formal name, but he couldn't decide, so it was delayed."
"Who else would name him, I'm Maxwell's father, of course, I'll name him."
"Okay." Lily never said much about such things.
She didn't want to cause any conflict with Cassius.
"But what should I name him?" Cassius was a bit puzzled.
He had never named anyone before. Suddenly, being asked to name someone was too difficult for him.
"There's no rush, he's still young. You can name him when you think of a good one," Lily quickly said.
"True," Cassius agreed, "Naming is a big deal, it should be done carefully."
"Yes."
Lily and Cassius chatted a bit more.
Lily was so tired that she couldn't hold on and fell asleep.
Cassius, having slept a long time in the afternoon, took a while to fall asleep.
While he was awake, he kept holding Lily.
For some reason, Cassius felt that Lily smelled nice and was really quite comfortable.
The next day.
Cassius left.
After spending one night in Serenovia City, he was still a bit worried about Alaric.
He was really afraid that the blows Alaric had suffered recently would be too much for him to handle, so he had to go and be with him.
For the first time, he felt a bit reluctant to leave.
Thinking about Maxwell, thinking about Lily.
Damn it.
Yesterday, he had just advised Dashiell not to get caught up in emotions.
Now he himself was a bit caught up in emotions.
It must be because he had stopped having sex for too long.
Because he was too busy to have time to release his desires, this time going to Astralton City, he definitely couldn't neglect himself like this again!
Cassius thought this as he called Dashiell before boarding the plane, "Dashiell, I'm going to Astralton City."
"Okay. Keep an eye on Alaric," Dashiell said.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of him. Take care of yourself, okay?" Cassius urged.
"I know."
"By the way, you and Cecilia are getting along well?"
"I don't know if she still wants to be friends with me," Dashiell smiled bitterly.
After all, he was Alaric's cousin.
Cecilia knew that.
"Anyway, if you have time, try to comfort Cecilia, don't let her be too sad."
"Okay," Dashiell agreed.
Dashiell actually knew that Cecilia's personality didn't need comforting.
She was very rational.
She knew very well what she needed.
"Not much else to say, call if you need anything."
"Okay."
Dashiell hung up the phone and saw Magnolia appear in the ward.
Originally, he didn't plan to let her know, but he couldn't resist Magnolia's constant questioning and told her about his hospitalization.
Seeing him now, Magnolia's face was clearly not good.
Dashiell pursed his lips, "I'm fine."
"If you're fine, why are you wrapped up like a mummy, lying in bed?" Magnolia said angrily.
"It's just superficial wounds, they'll heal in a few days."
"What exactly did you and Seraphina go through? The police just came to the ward and said Sebastian died, and another woman, both fell..."
"Mom, don't worry about it," Dashiell interrupted her, "I didn't do anything illegal."
"I really..." Magnolia sighed, "Alaric is now forced into this situation, unable to control his actions, and you're lying here in such a miserable state. How can I be at ease!"
"Alaric is strong; he'll handle it. I'm also strong; my body will be fine in a few days. Just be at ease being the president's relative," Dashiell comforted.
"I'm getting old, I can't manage much. But that Seraphina..." Magnolia hesitated.
Dashiell's eyes flickered.
"I suspect she's going to cry herself to death. How can someone cry for a whole day and night without stopping?" Magnolia was really driven crazy by Seraphina!
