Chapter 728 Break Up with Sebastian Sooner

Seraphina was excited on the other end of the phone for a long time.

She probably wasn't even this excited when she became the First Lady.

She said, "Cecilia, where are you? I want to come over and see you, and maybe butter you up a bit!"

Cecilia really couldn't stand Seraphina.

But thinking that they hadn't seen each other for a long time, she nodded, "Come over, I'm at The Whitaker Villa."

"I'll be there in twenty minutes!"

Seraphina hurriedly hung up the phone.

Cecilia also put down her phone.

She got up from the bed, very carefully.

Because of the baby, she felt she had become a bit neurotic lately.

She went downstairs.

There were a lot of people downstairs.

Cecilia thought it was a bit exaggerated.

George, on the other hand, was very composed. When he saw Cecilia coming downstairs, he quickly approached, "Mrs. Whitaker."

"I'm fine, George, you go about your business," Cecilia explained, seeing George's nervous look.

"Yes, ma'am."

"By the way, Seraphina is coming over later. Prepare some Mexican dishes that she likes."

"Yes, Mrs. Whitaker."

"Thank you."

"It's my duty, Mrs. Whitaker."

George left.

Cecilia sat on the sofa for a while.

Soon, she saw Seraphina arriving at The Whitaker Villa.

From the villa gate to the hall, Seraphina's eyes were wide open.

The aura of a First Lady was indeed different.

Look at the grandeur of this place.

For the first time, she deeply felt the aura of a big shot.

Cecilia could tell what Seraphina was thinking just by looking at her expression.

She greeted Seraphina, "Come and sit."

Seraphina looked around, then eagerly sat next to Cecilia.

She looked at Cecilia and frowned, "Cecilia, why do you look thinner! And your complexion doesn't look good? What's wrong with you?"

Seraphina wasn't too careless; she could still notice the changes in her body.

She said, "Morning sickness from pregnancy is quite severe."

Cecilia made up an excuse.

"Really? I thought you looked much more haggard. You've lost so much weight. But didn't you say you didn't have morning sickness before?"

"Probably because I wasn't used to Astralton City."

"Alaric is really something, making you go with him even when you're pregnant." Seraphina complained, then quickly corrected herself, "I shouldn't speak ill of Alaric."

Cecilia chuckled lightly.

"By the way, didn't Alaric come back with you?"

"He's very busy."

"That makes sense." Seraphina seemed to understand, then suddenly thought of something and asked, "Has the Monroe family submitted to Alaric?"

"I don't know much about political matters." Cecilia didn't want to say more.

"I saw it on the news." Seraphina murmured, "I just can't seem to like Lyra for some reason."

Cecilia didn't interject.

"I also saw on the news that Alaric and Juniper from the Monroe family are very close..." Seraphina looked at Cecilia, "I thought it was just the reporters talking nonsense."

Cecilia had also seen that news.

In the news, Alaric accompanied Juniper to the hospital.

For so long.

She had been hospitalized in Astralton City for a week, and he didn't have time to accompany her.

But he accompanied Juniper.

Alaric wasn't someone who would get involved with other women. Once he did, it meant the relationship wasn't simple.

But she didn't ask.

After seeing that news, she didn't call Alaric to question him.

Alaric didn't call to explain either.

They just tacitly allowed many things to happen.

"How's your baby?" Seraphina suddenly asked Cecilia.

"Very good." Cecilia smiled lightly.

She was truly satisfied.

She was satisfied that this baby could stay with her.

So strong.

"Let me feel." Seraphina quickly reached out to touch Cecilia's belly, "You can't tell with clothes on, but it feels so obvious when you touch it."

"Yes." Cecilia had lost a lot of weight recently.

But the bulge in her belly was becoming more and more obvious.

Seraphina happily touched around.

Suddenly, Cecilia's belly twitched noticeably.

Seraphina was delighted, "She's responding to me!"

Cecilia was also amused by Seraphina.

Yes, such a lively baby.

Because the baby's condition had been very dangerous for a long time, she relied on these signals from her baby every day, firmly believing that her baby would never leave her.

"I love her so much." Seraphina said, "In the future, I'll definitely take her to eat delicious food and date the most handsome men."

Cecilia was speechless.

"Speaking of which, if it's really a girl, it might be hard to find someone more handsome than Alaric to date." Seraphina was quite melancholic.

Cecilia couldn't stand it, "Alright, your own love life is a mess, and you're worrying about others."

Seraphina pouted, "When has my love life been a mess?"

"Have you broken up with Sebastian yet?" Cecilia asked.

"I never said I was going to break up with him..."

"Speak properly." Cecilia was serious.

"No." Seraphina sighed, "I originally agreed with Sebastian to break up after a month, but now that a month has passed, he's been especially good to me. Every time I want to say it, I can't. I'm really frustrated."

"Are you just going to keep dragging it out?"

"I don't know." Seraphina leaned on the sofa, a bit helpless, "I don't know why, but I have less and less ambition in life. Sometimes I just think about muddling through. Finding someone who treats me well and having a comfortable life is enough. When you reach a certain age, you die anyway. Maybe everything we're pursuing now will seem like a bowl of plain water, tasteless, when we look back in old age."

Cecilia didn't know that someone as positive and enthusiastic about life as Seraphina could have such a negative mindset.

Had life really worn her down to the point where she had no passion left?

Or had Seraphina become so disillusioned with someone that she became this negative?

"Let's not talk about me." Seraphina didn't want to be so down, "Life goes on anyway, let's just go with the flow."

"You should break up with Sebastian sooner." Cecilia said bluntly.

Seraphina glanced at Cecilia.

"I'm serious." Cecilia's expression was earnest, "It was fine when you liked Sebastian, but now that you don't, break up sooner. He's not as good as you think."

"What do you mean?" Seraphina frowned slightly.

"Just what I said. If you don't like him, don't drag it out, be decisive." Cecilia said, "If you can't say it, I'll talk to Sebastian for you."

Seraphina looked at Cecilia.

For the first time, she felt that Cecilia was so serious about her and Sebastian's relationship!

Seraphina was obviously startled by Cecilia's seriousness.
