Chapter 663 Warm Diana
"Why?" Diana asked directly, her round eyes full of confusion.
Louis thought for a moment and gave a relatively understandable answer, "Because Lon played the roles of bride and groom with others."
"Louis!" Diana said very seriously.
Diana continued, "It's just a game."
"Then why did you announce to everyone that Lon is the person you want to marry in the future?" Louis didn't understand this.
If Diana really didn't care, why did she tell others this?
When Diana said she wanted to marry Lon, she looked very serious.
"Isn't that part of the game too?" Diana felt Louis didn't understand at all. "You haven't played this game, have you?"
Louis indeed hadn't played it.
"It's just a game," Diana said seriously, but added, "But Lon is really good-looking. If I have money when I grow up, I'll definitely take care of him."
"Not marry him?" Louis asked again.
"I will!" Diana answered straightforwardly.
Seeing her pure and clear eyes, Louis knew she didn't really understand what marriage meant.
"Let's go find Caspian to play." Diana was all about Caspian.
Louis stated a harsh fact. "He doesn't like playing with us and doesn't want anyone to disturb his life."
"That's because he hasn't experienced the joy of having friends," Diana said earnestly, her eyes full of sincerity. "His grades are so good, but his dad still hits him, which means his childhood is unhappy."
Louis pursed his lips, wanting to refute her but couldn't.
Given Caspian's upbringing, he indeed hadn't experienced the joy of childhood or had good playmates.
"What about after you leave?" Louis thought long-term. "Who will he play with?"
Most kids, after playing for a while, will go back to their usual lives if their friends leave.
But for him, Lon, or Caspian, if someone leaves a significant mark in their lives, they will miss them when they are gone.
"We can come back to find him, right?" Diana said naively, "Or he can come find us."
"Let's go," Charles came over, having heard their conversation from afar. "To see Caspian."
"Okay!" Diana immediately skipped away.
Before officially going to find Caspian, Diana asked Charles to teach her some jokes.
She had already decided that if Caspian was unhappy, she would tell him jokes to cheer him up.
However, things didn't go as smoothly as she imagined.
When they went to find Caspian, he was seriously reading and doing homework, and he was not welcoming at all, directly refusing them.
"Sorry, I'm very busy and don't have time to play with you," Caspian said expressionlessly.
Diana's big, watery eyes widened. "Just for a little while."
"No," Caspian coldly refused.
Diana instinctively looked at Charles and Louis, clearly seeking help.
Louis took the initiative to say, "Since he's busy, let's go back first. You can play with him when he's free."
"No," Diana's gaze fell on Caspian, and she made a decision in her heart. "You go back first. I'll stay here with Caspian and play with him when he's done."
"You staying here will disturb me," Caspian continued to refuse.
Diana wasn't discouraged at all. "Then I'll go outside."
After saying that, she obediently went to the living room.
Seeing her like this, Louis wanted to call her back.
But Diana was very stubborn and insisted on waiting for Caspian.
In the end, Charles and Louis had to leave first and wait for her outside.
Charles stood in the hallway, looking at the open living room door, a bit puzzled by Diana's behavior. "Does she like Caspian that much?"
"Her liking him is only a small part," Louis understood Diana and shared his view. "More than that, she wants to give Caspian warmth and make him feel loved."
Although Diana was young, she would always chat cheerfully and comfort others, no matter who she was facing.
She had a magical charm, just being with her, one would unknowingly be cheered by her smile and happiness.
"But this time, she might be disappointed," Louis guessed.
Charles looked at Louis, surprised at how mature a child could be.
If he and Daphne had a child, would they be this smart too?
"Then why not call her out?" Charles asked, clearly puzzled by Louis's approach. "Aren't you afraid she'll be upset?"
"Once she decides on something, no one but mom can change her mind," Louis said, though he knew he could change her mind. "Although she'll be disappointed, it won't affect her much."
And it turned out that Louis was right.
When Caspian came out of his room to get water, he saw Diana sitting outside reading his book.
Seeing him, her eyes lit up, and she smiled, "Caspian!"
"My house doesn't welcome you. Please leave," Caspian said.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Why?" Diana asked sincerely, "I've been good and didn't disturb your studies."
"You dirtied my floor," Caspian casually made an excuse, not wanting to interact with Diana. "I need to spend time mopping."
Diana looked down, the floor was very clean.
She didn't argue much. If Caspian said it was dirty, then it was dirty. She quickly said, "I'll clean it for you!"
She immediately went to get the cleaning tools.
Seeing her clumsy and almost falling, Caspian's hands unconsciously tightened.
"It's clean now!" Diana said with a smile.
"Leave," Caspian suppressed his emotions and rejected all of Diana's goodwill. "I hope you don't come again."
"If I don't come, you'll always be unhappy," Diana chatted with him familiarly. "I want you to be happy."
"No need," Caspian continued to refuse.
Diana ignored Caspian's refusal, "Can I tell you a joke?"
"I don't like jokes."
"How do you know if you don't listen to it?"
"I have to do my homework."
"You do your homework, and I'll tell my joke," Diana followed him.
