Chapter 748 Planning to Help Louis

"No problem, I can wait." Diana didn't mind.

That night, after Caspian returned home, he called Diana. They started with some small talk, and then Diana brought up Louis.

Regarding this matter, Caspian's suggestion was simple: just help.

Diana didn't expect him to agree without asking for reasons. "They've only known each other for a day."

"It doesn't matter, Louis never makes the wrong choice," Caspian calmly discussed the matter with her. "His emotional intelligence and IQ are top-notch."

"He has emotional intelligence?" Diana was skeptical.

Caspian was certain. "Yes."

She seriously doubted if Caspian had misunderstood her brother.

Growing up, besides studying and researching what he liked, Louis never chatted much with girls. Could he have emotional intelligence?

"Trust him," Caspian added.

He used to think Louis was just an excellent businessman and researcher in various fields.

But after their last heart-to-heart talk, he clearly knew Louis was emotionally mature. If not, he wouldn't have said those things.

"Alright," Diana finally agreed. "For your sake, I'll help him this time."

After their conversation, Diana lay in bed thinking about Louis and Lyra.

In terms of looks, they were a good match.

In terms of aura, they were very similar.

As for abilities, Louis was slightly better, but they were evenly matched.

Thinking about this, she sent a message to Daphne: [Mom, I'll tell you something secretly, don't say it was from me."

Daphne: [Go ahead.]

Diana typed vigorously on her phone: [Mr. Reynolds, please give the phone back to Mom.]

Benjamin, who was planning to rest with Daphne, replied simply: [Your mom is watching, I'm just her phone stand.]

Diana paused but didn't argue. Since she could remember, Daphne didn't like playing with her phone much.

As they grew up, Daphne mostly handed the phone to Benjamin, only holding it when Emma, Zoey, or Daisy wanted to share secrets.

While thinking about this, she received a voice message from Daphne asking what it was about.

Diana subtly informed them: [Louis seems to be in a relationship, I heard him talking on the phone late at night some time ago, but I didn't think much of it.]

Diana continued: [Until yesterday, after you left, I saw him shopping with a girl.]

Daphne paused, while Benjamin raised an eyebrow.

Clearly, this news was surprising to both of them.

Daphne took the phone and replied: [Did you ask him?]

Diana was adept at handling these matters, typing slowly: [I did. He told me not to worry about his business and to focus on Caspian.]

Because of this, Daphne and Benjamin believed about thirty percent of Louis's relationship.

The next morning, Louis received a message from Daphne.

Considering he didn't want to admit the relationship yet, Daphne subtly asked: [Louis, Diana and Caspian's wedding is set, do you have a girl you like?]

Seeing this, even the smart Louis was momentarily stunned.

He didn't understand why his mom, who never pressured him about marriage, was asking this.

At that moment, Diana sent him a voice message, "I told Mom and Dad about your relationship."

Along with the message were two screenshots of her chat with Daphne.

After reading, Louis understood everything.

He simply replied to Diana: [Thanks.]

Diana didn't say much, just thought about the risks of quick marriage and advised him to consider it carefully and not act impulsively.

For Louis, however, impulsive actions were not part of his life.

Diana didn't interfere much. After all, Louis was smarter than her, so she didn't need to worry.

After discussing this with him, she planned to visit the Lancelot Group and wait for Caspian. Unexpectedly, as soon as she arrived, two middle-aged men in suits blocked her way.

"Ms. Reynolds, please wait." They were very polite.

Diana scanned them for a while, finally looking at a barely familiar man and asking, "Who are you?"

"I'm Caspian's father," Bodhi smiled politely. "Can we talk?"

Diana looked at him a few more times and finally remembered.

Bodhi had changed a lot. After more than ten years, he had gained weight and lost the stern and harsh look, replaced by a fawning smile.

"What do you want to talk about?" Diana, thinking he was Caspian's father, politely asked.

Bodhi pointed to a nearby café, still smiling, "How about we talk over coffee?"

"Sure," Diana agreed directly. She wanted to see what Bodhi wanted. Was it to discuss their marriage or to know about Caspian's current situation?

After ordering their drinks at the café, Diana got straight to the point, "What do you want to talk about?"

"I heard you and Caspian are getting engaged." Bodhi had heard some rumors and immediately had his assistant investigate.

Sure enough, after finding out, he came to ask.

Diana slowly stirred her coffee. "Yes."

"You two were close as kids, and it's nice to see that hasn't changed." Bodhi knew Diana's background and wanted to get closer. "Your family is so prestigious, Caspian is lucky."

"Everything is equal, there's no such thing as being lucky." Diana's attitude became distant.

Bodhi let out a awkward laugh.

Diana didn't want to waste time. "Just get to your point."

"Since you're talking about marriage, when will the parents meet formally?" Bodhi wanted to discuss a business deal with Benjamin and Daphne. "You choose the place, I'll arrange it."

Diana paused, a bit taken aback.

In theory, her parents should meet Caspian's parents to discuss their marriage.

But Caspian's parents had a special relationship, and Caspian had no feelings for them, making it tricky.

"What's wrong?" Seeing no respond from Diana, Bodhi pressed.
