Chapter 722 You Are My Baby

"You are my baby, how could I laugh at you?" Diana continued driving, her words tinged with a doting smile. "I just think you're a bit cute right now."

So cute that she wanted to stop the car, ruffle his hair, and give him a kiss.

Caspian furrowed his brows.

After a while, he said, "I'm not cute."

"I'm your boyfriend, your future husband." Caspian, now completely drunk, revealed his true self to Diana. "You can't describe me as cute."

"Then can I call you handsome?"

"Yes!"

Seeing Caspian acting like a child, Diana's heart softened.

With a faint smile on her lips, Diana sped up the car to get home.

By the time they got home, it was already past ten.

Diana placed Caspian on the couch and went to get some water.

When she brought the water over for him to drink, Caspian sat there dazed, his cheeks slightly flushed, shaking his head. "I don't want to drink."

"You'll feel better if you drink it," Diana coaxed him.

Caspian, still like a child, said, "No."

"Why?" Diana asked patiently.

"Hug me." Caspian looked up at her, his long eyes no longer cold but filled with a misty obedience.

This side of Caspian made Diana like him even more. Without hesitation, she straddled him and hugged him, comforting him, "I'll hug you for a while, can you drink some water then?"

"Okay." Caspian became very obedient.

Diana then gave him the water to drink.

Caspian drank it like a child, gulping it down, and after finishing, he handed the empty cup to Diana, looking for praise. "Diana, I finished it."

"Do you like me?" Diana asked.

Caspian nodded. "I like you."

"How much do you like me?"

"A lot, a lot."

"Then why did you reject me when I confessed to you?" Diana cupped his face, his usual cold demeanor completely gone. "Didn't you know it made me sad?"

"I was afraid you wouldn't want me." Caspian hugged her, saying, "You're mean."

Diana wondered how she was mean.

Caspian tightened his grip on her, his voice more aggrieved than before. "Diana."

"Yes?"

"Can you not leave me?"

"I won't."

"I'm afraid you'll leave me," Caspian's mood dropped as he spoke. "Everyone around you is so outstanding, I can't compare to them."

"Don't belittle yourself." Diana ruffled his hair, her heart filled with affection. "To me, you're the best, no one can compare."

Caspian shook his head, no, he couldn't compare to others.

"All your suitors have better family backgrounds than me, they match you perfectly, I don't." Caspian's words revealed his deepest insecurities. "My dad used to hit me when I was a kid, then he ignored me, and my mom abandoned me when I was little."

"Diana, I'm afraid you'll despise me," Caspian's grip on Diana tightened slightly as he said this.

Diana hugged him back, giving him all her warmth. "I won't, you'll always be my baby."

Caspian didn't say anything, just held her.

His emotions seemed to reach a peak.

Diana alternated between ruffling Caspian's hair and patting his back, conveying all her warmth to him.

"Caspian," Diana cupped his face, her star-like eyes meeting his gaze. "Don't be insecure, and don't doubt my feelings for you, okay?"

Caspian's eyes welled up with tears, and he nodded. "Okay."

Diana said, "From now on, let's be honest with each other."

"Okay," Caspian agreed obediently.

After calming Caspian down, Diana felt a bit more at ease.

"Diana." Caspian's eyes were half-closed, his voice low and soft.

Diana responded gently, "Yes?"

"I'm so dizzy." Caspian pointed to his head, describing his feeling. "It feels like you and the room are spinning."

"You're drunk, you'll be fine in the morning." Diana got off him, took his hand, and helped him up. "Come on, I'll take you to shower."

Caspian was very obedient.

Diana took him to the bathroom and undressed him completely.

Seeing his lean muscles, she wanted to do something, but she held back, planning to talk about it when he was sober.

For the next half hour, Diana bathed Caspian, dressed him in a robe, and helped him to the bedroom to sleep.

After finishing all this, she went to wash up herself.

That night, Caspian slept soundly.

In his dream, Caspian faced many obstacles, but Diana stood by his side the whole time, giving him all the security he needed.

As for Diana, after washing up and lying in bed, she thought about one thing.

She had straddled Caspian and kissed him, yet he had no reaction, not even during the shower.

This made Diana have a strange thought, could Caspian be impotent?

Just then, Chloe messaged Diana, asking how things were going.

Diana said Caspian was asleep, and she was about to sleep too.

Sleep? Chloe was a bit surprised and sent a voice message, "Considering most men's behavior, shouldn't he have tried to have sex with you while drunk?"

"No," Diana replied honestly.

"Maybe you didn't give him a chance?" Chloe asked tentatively.

Diana retorted, "What do you mean by giving him a chance?"

"Don't refuse?" Chloe wasn't very sure either, as she didn't have a boyfriend. "From what I saw today, if you pretended to refuse, Caspian might think you were really refusing."

"He fell asleep shortly after we got back." Diana didn't reveal the real situation, her intuition told her Caspian couldn't be impotent. "There wasn't even a chance for anything to happen."
