Chapter 760 I Can Reveal a Bit

Louis had guessed his idea.

When he grew up, he realized that these elders particularly enjoyed watching him and his dad engage in a battle of wits.

Every time something like this happened, they would all watch the excitement without feeling it was too much.

The next morning.

Evan and the others began to implement the plan.

At first, Benjamin didn't suspect anything, thinking they really had something to do, so he took Daphne back first.

Considering that Caspian was going to propose soon, they just looked around the area and didn't travel too far.

After Evan and the others called him away alone, Diana approached Daphne.

When she learned that this was a plan between her and Louis, Daphne paused. "Aren't you afraid of getting beaten?"

"Not afraid." Diana said directly, her mind full of plans for her and Caspian, "Louis said he could handle this, let's talk about the proposal first, I've thought of several plans but none seem quite right."

"Okay." Daphne agreed.

Because Caspian was going to propose soon, Daphne deliberately designed a high-difficulty proposal plan.

After a few hours of discussion, Diana's brows furrowed together.

"The plan is perfect and stunning." Diana rubbed her chin, a thoughtful look in her eyes, "But these things need to be done slowly, it will probably take two or three months for the finished product to come out."

Two or three months, she would have already been engaged to Caspian.

Proposing after getting engaged...

It seemed strange.

"It won't take that long." Daphne explained the situation to her, "The finished product should be ready in a month, you prepare other things first, I'll let you know when it's ready."

"Okay." Diana agreed readily.

She had unconditional trust in her mother's words.

After finishing the discussion about the proposal, Daphne began to care about another matter. She looked at the excited Diana and asked her, "How much do you know about your brother's situation?"

"He might be in a relationship." Diana continued to act, her eyes as beautiful as Daphne's, "I even ran into them at home yesterday."

Daphne was surprised. "At home?"

"Yes." Diana nodded honestly.

"Whose family is the girl he likes from?" Daphne was simply curious about her child's love interest.

"It should be the Cole family, he introduced her to me as Lyra Cole." Diana's acting skills were quite impressive, "When I asked him more, he wouldn't say."

Lyra?

A figure popped into Daphne's mind.

As if thinking of something, she took out her phone and pulled up a photo from her chat history, opening it and showing it to Diana. "Is it her?"

Diana's eyes were full of shock.

What was going on?

How did mom have a photo of Lyra?

"Yes." Her mind was in chaos, not knowing what was wrong, "How did you know?"

"Richard told me, he said he and Brian have a mutual student who has learned a lot from them." Daphne had a good memory and a bit of an impression of Lyra.

Not many people received praise from Richard.

But both Richard and Brian spoke highly of this student.

At the time, she had looked into it briefly and knew the girl was smart and capable in various fields of research.

She didn't expect her to be the one Louis liked.

"I see." Diana breathed a sigh of relief, adding a casual sentence, "Could it be that Louis met her through Richard and Brian?"

"Probably not." Daphne denied.

They hadn't arranged blind dates for Louis or rushed his marriage.

And with his personality, he wouldn't go on a blind date through someone's introduction.

"If possible, have your brother bring his girlfriend home." Daphne hoped for her children's happiness.

Diana agreed. "Okay."

"Diana." Daphne suddenly spoke.

Diana put away her plan book, her voice innocent. "Hmm?"

"Do you think mom looks fierce?" Daphne asked gently, lacking her usual calm and casual demeanor.

She had always done her own thing, but now suddenly being an elder felt a bit unfamiliar.

If she left a bad impression on Lyra at their first meeting, it could harm Louis's relationship.

"Not at all." Diana spoke sincerely, her eyes full of joy and love, "A bit adorably silly!"

Daphne tentatively asked, "Not very smart?"

"If you're not smart, then Louis and I must be idiots." Diana didn't know why her mom suddenly lost confidence, so she kept comforting her, "Don't worry, Lyra will definitely like you."

Mom seemed aloof, but spending more time with her would reveal her soft side.

She couldn't guarantee for others.

But Lyra would definitely have a good impression of her.

"I'll ask them if they have time when I get back." Diana was eager for her brother to bring Lyra to meet the family, "If they do, we'll meet in the next few days, if not, we'll arrange another time."

"Okay." Daphne agreed.

They chatted for a while longer before finishing.

Just as they were about to eat together, Benjamin had already returned.

He was wearing a clean white shirt, the buttons meticulously fastened, exuding a mix of restraint and casual steadiness.

"Tell me, how did you get them to lie and deceive me?" Benjamin sat down next to Daphne, asking Diana.

Diana blinked, playing along. "What?"

"Unexpectedly, this plan must be your brother's doing." Benjamin realized something was off at the last moment, such a meticulous plan and execution, he couldn't think of anyone else but Louis who could do it.

Diana continued her puzzled look.

But inside, she was shocked.

She hadn't expected him to guess so quickly.

"What deal did you make with your brother?" Benjamin glanced at her plan book, already guessing most of it, "To make him go to such lengths to help you?"

"What are you talking about?" Diana could only play dumb.

Benjamin's lips curved into a knowing smile, his dark eyes seeing through everything.

"There are rumors in the circle that Louis is interested in the Cole family's daughter." Benjamin could only guess in this direction, "Did your brother make a deal with you about this, helping you create time alone with your mom?"

Diana was shocked.

Benjamin didn't say anything, his deep gaze just watching her.

Daphne also became more curious. "Is that so?"

"I promised Louis not to say." Diana decided to go along with it, making her brother and Lyra's relationship seem more real.

Daphne asked, "Not even a little hint?"

"I can reveal a bit." Diana hesitated, choosing her words carefully, "But you have to promise that after I tell you, you won't have any opinions about Louis and Lyra."
