Chapter 737 Completely Lacking Insight

"Last time Caspian went back and slept, he didn't get drunk and act crazy," Chloe, who had never seen someone so oblivious, retorted angrily. "If you don't know, don't talk nonsense."

"You didn't go back with them, how did you know?" Eddy was a bit annoyed, not understanding why Chloe was defending Caspian.

Chloe replied with a few words, "I talked to Diana that night, she told me."

Eddy was stunned.

Even so, Lon still had some emotions churning inside.

Looking at Caspian's still calm face, he couldn't help but wonder if he was pretending or really not drunk. "Can you still drink?"

"Yes." Caspian remained very calm.

Lon kindly reminded him, "Don't push yourself."

He wanted to see what Caspian was like when drunk, but that didn't mean he would force him to keep drinking. After all, Caspian was Diana's boyfriend.

"I'm not pushing myself." Caspian's gaze swept over everyone, still in that clear and indifferent tone. "Just follow what we agreed on before."

Lon had no choice but to continue with him.

After a few more drinking, Lon was kind of drunk, while Caspian was already very drunk, his hand holding the cup was numb.

Lon noticed some small details and realized that Caspian's previous calmness was all an act. He stood up deliberately and said, "I can't drink anymore, you win."

Everyone looked puzzled, Eddy was the first to voice his opinion, "Are you sure you're drunk?"

When Diana came to find him the year he graduated, they drank more than this during their gatherings.

"Yes," Lon said indifferently.

"No need to go easy on me." Caspian knew Lon wasn't drunk and said it outright, "Drink as much as you can."

"This is my limit." Lon found an excuse that both sides could accept. "I only drink this much."

"Lon..." Eddy still wanted to say something.

Lon stopped him, signaling him to take the turn, "You go with him."

"Don't worry, I'll definitely drink him under the table for you!" Eddy had always supported Diana and Lon being together, even if he sometimes leaned towards Caspian.

Chloe whispered to him, "If you're not afraid of getting beaten up by Diana, go ahead and drink."

Eddy shuddered. The image of Diana not hesitating to deal with people automatically appeared in his mind.

"What to drink?" Caspian glanced at the various drinks on the table and asked him.

Eddy was a bit troubled, thinking of Diana's protective nature, he pretended to hold his stomach and tentatively said, "How about we stop drinking, my stomach suddenly feels a bit uncomfortable."

"Next one." Caspian knew he was acting.

Eddy looked to Lon for help.

The original plan for today was to give Caspian a hard time, to let him know that Diana had them as her support, and no one could bully her. And to test his behavior when drunk.

But now it seemed unnecessary.

"You?" Caspian looked at Chloe.

Chloe refused without hesitation, gently and politely, "I'm not good at drinking, how about we call it a day, Diana should be here soon."

Lon's eyebrows showed a moment of confusion. "Diana is coming?"

"I called her," Chloe explained, glancing at her watch. "She also has something to discuss with Caspian."

Just as she finished speaking, Diana opened the door to the private room, panting.

Seeing the six or seven people inside, she walked in and said, "Why didn't you invite me to the gathering?"

"This isn't a gathering." Eddy, being an honest person, told her the real purpose, "We wanted to see if your boyfriend is worth your affection."

Diana instinctively looked at Lon. She knew this was probably organized by Lon.

"Sorry," Lon took the initiative to speak, knowing this behavior wasn't good. "I did this without your permission."

"Just don't do it next time." Diana knew he meant well, and added, "You should trust me, when have my choices ever been wrong?"

"Are you saying rejecting Lon was the right choice?" Eddy, being typically blunt, said.

Chloe didn't hesitate to kick him.

Eddy looked at her, his eyes clearly asking, " Why did you kick me again?"

Chloe glared at him. "Don't you know why?"

Eddy was even more confused. "Know what?"

Chloe gritted her teeth and whispered, "If you can't speak properly, just shut up."

"I didn't say anything wrong," Eddy insisted. "Do I not even have the right to speak freely?"

Chloe was speechless.

"You do, and you're right," Diana naturally answered him, though she wanted to hit him as well, considering Lon and Caspian were there, she faced the issue directly. "Lon will find his true love in the future, my rejection is for the best for both of us."

"Nonsense, Lon in this lifetime..." Eddy started again.

Chloe quickly covered his mouth.

When Diana looked at him, her lips curved into a smile, but her fists at her sides tightened.

"Diana..." Caspian, sitting there, hugged her arm, the drunkenness fully taking over.

Everyone's attention was drawn to him, including Lon and Diana.

Diana let him hold her, gently rubbing his head, her voice softening, "What do you want?"

"Can we go home?" Caspian was particularly cute when drunk, though he forced himself to stay somewhat rational. "They're too noisy."

Eddy seriously came up to him, like a child arguing, "Who are you calling noisy?"

"You," Caspian blurted out.

"I'm Diana's good friend since childhood!" Eddy knew he was bullying a drunk. "Do you believe I can make her break up with you with one word?"

At this, Caspian's mood dropped. He held Diana's hand tightly in front of everyone, his voice hoarse, "Diana, is it true?"

"Of course not." Diana had infinite patience with him. "He got it wrong."

Diana, holding a grudge, gently said, "It should be you who can decide with one word whether I still want to be friends with him."
