"Are you planning to have a wedding party?" Diana suddenly had a bold idea.
Lyra replied in the same tone as before, "No."
"Why?" Diana's curiosity was strong.
Lyra didn't tell her the real reason. She knew that if she did, Diana would definitely try to comfort her. "Weddings are quite complicated and the whole process is tiring."
"We can simplify the process." Diana, seeing that this was her only concern, said directly, her eyes sparkling, "We can just have a one-day event, leave the tiring stuff to Louis and Caspian, and we can just go through the ceremonial process."
Lyra paused.
She didn't expect her to say that.
"What do you think?" Diana looked at her with bright eyes.
Lyra was about to refuse.
Louis walked over, having heard their conversation, and made a promise. "The wedding won't be tiring. You just need to be a beautiful bride, and I'll handle the rest."
They say a wedding was a girl's dream. Even if their marriage was just a partnership, he would plan a grand wedding for her as long as Lyra wanted it.
"I'll take care of things like the makeup artist," Diana said, hoping that they four would have a wedding together, as that would bring happiness. "All you need to do is pick out a wedding dress and go through the ceremony on the wedding day."
Louis nodded in agreement, "Okay."
Listening to their words, Lyra felt a bit moved.
For a moment, she actually wanted to agree.
"You can tell us any concerns you have." Diana was full of warmth, making people feel very comfortable, "We'll take care of it."
"Let's forget it." Lyra struggled internally for a while before refusing. The better they treated her, the more she felt that cooperating with Louis was unfair to him, "I don't really like weddings."
"Alright." Diana didn't force her but added, "But if you change your mind, let me know anytime. Don't be distant with me."
"Okay." Lyra, being more reserved, said politely, "Thank you."
Diana beamed at Lyra. "You're welcome!"
After chatting for a while, Diana went upstairs to organize her suitcase.
Since she wasn't leaving, she had to put everything back in place.
When only Louis and Lyra were left in the living room, Louis talked to her as if discussing business, "If it's inconvenient to tell Diana, you can tell me. I'm not only your fiancé but also your partner."
"No, I just don't want to have a wedding." Lyra didn't open up to him.
She admitted to herself that she was somewhat swayed by Diana and Louis's words.
But she didn't have many friends or family, and she didn't want people to gossip about Louis and his family.
She hadn't achieved any major accomplishments yet. She wanted to wait until she made significant achievements in her research before standing proudly with Louis in front of the public.
"If you ever want to have one, let me know anytime." Louis noticed her fleeting emotion but didn't expose her, "No matter how many years we've been married, we can always have a wedding later."
"Okay." Lyra responded.
After chatting for a while, they each went back to their rooms.
Lyra looked at the things her mother left her, while Louis did a simple investigation into Lyra's matters.
He knew it was somewhat impolite and disrespectful to investigate, but since Lyra seemed a bit interested in having a wedding, he needed to understand some things to help her open up.
"Louis." Diana poked her head in.
Louis glanced at her and asked indifferently, "What's up?"
"I want to talk to you about Lyra." Diana, after accepting Louis's cooperative marriage, liked Lyra more and more.
Louis was a bit puzzled.
"Take her to get some wedding photos first." Diana said seriously.
Louis thought for a moment and replied, "I'll ask her during dinner."
"Don't ask." Diana thought Louis's emotional intelligence was really low, "Just pick a few good studios and let her choose one she likes."
While chatting, she had noticed that Lyra had a bit of expectation for the wedding.
But for some reason, she refused.
Since she wasn't opposed to the wedding deep down, wedding photos shouldn't be a problem either.

Louis paused.

"These studios are good, recommended by my friends." Diana had already selected them and recommended them to him, "Take a look."

"Lyra is my future sister-in-law." Diana smiled.
Louis reminded, "Only one chance."
"Find a way to keep mom and dad apart for half a day." Diana, still clueless about the proposal, directly stated her request, "I want to talk to mom alone."
Louis rubbed his forehead and sighed, "Isn't this making things difficult for me?"
Diana negotiated, "If you help me with this, I guarantee mom and dad will have no objections to you and Lyra."
"They're traveling." Louis thought this was a high-difficulty task.
Diana looked at him expectantly.
She could guarantee one hundred percent.
Louis definitely had a way.
"If I help you, you can't let them know that Lyra and I are in a cooperative marriage." Louis made a request, "You have to cover for us."
He and Lyra took this marriage seriously.
But if their parents knew it was a cooperative marriage, they would inevitably overthink and worry.

But he was planning to expose Louis as soon as the time came.
