"Then can you stop playing with him from now on?" Caspian glanced at Eddy as he said this. "I don't like him right now."
"Okay," Diana agreed.
Eddy was devastated. He complained to Diana, very dissatisfied with her behavior, "Are you serious? I'm your good friend, we've been playing together since we were kids, how can you just end it because of what he said?"
"You deserve this." Diana was protective.
"I even spoke up for you before," Eddy said to Caspian, both of them acting like children. "You can't be so ungrateful."
Caspian clung to Diana's arm without saying a word. It was clear he had an issue with Eddy.
Lon watched them, feeling a bit annoyed.
At this moment, he realized he had fallen into Caspian's trap. Caspian agreed to drink with him just to show off his affection for Diana in front of him.
He had to admit that it was a smart move. But he thought Caspian might be a little too cunning.
"I'll take him back first," Diana looked at everyone and said straightforwardly. "We'll gather again in a few days."
"I'll take you." Lon glanced at the drunk Caspian and offered.
Before Diana could speak, Caspian shook his head. "No."
Lon frowned slightly.
Diana helped Caspian up, smiling, "I'll take him back, Charles is also at the hotel, I'll have him come down to meet us."
"Be careful on the way." Lon didn't insist, knowing clearly how deep Caspian's thoughts were. "Call me if you need anything."
"Okay," Diana said and then left with Caspian.
Watching the two of them leaning on each other, everyone's eyes instinctively fell on Lon. They knew he must be feeling bad now.
"I told you he can't hold his liquor," Eddy, who wasn't very thoughtful, said directly. "He must have been pretending to hold on just now because he didn't want to lose."
"He did it on purpose," Lon said confidently.
Chloe was curious. "On purpose for what?"
"On purpose to drink with me and get drunk, so that he can let us see Diana's favoritism and care for him when she shows up to pick him up." Lon saw everything clearly.
Eddy reached out to touch his forehead, acting like a fool. "Do you have some kind of persecution complex?"
"You mean tonight's events were all planned by Caspian?" Chloe asked hesitantly.
Lon answered affirmatively, "Yes."
"But wasn't he invited by you?" Chloe couldn't think that far, feeling Lon's statement was too far-fetched. "I called Diana over, and his drinking capacity was never good."
"He calculated it," Lon only said this, not explaining further.
At first, he thought Caspian simply accepted his invitation.
Until Diana arrived, and Caspian called her in front of him, he realized this was a plan from the moment Caspian accepted the invitation.
Caspian wanted Lon to give up, to know that Diana's heart was now full of Caspian.

As the car moved slowly, Caspian gradually fell asleep from the drunkenness, and by the time they reached the hotel, he was already asleep.
Diana woke him up, gave him some water, and let him continue sleeping. She stayed with him for about two hours before Lon called, and she handed Caspian over to Charles before leaving the hotel.
Before leaving, she left a note on the bedside for Caspian.
After five in the afternoon, Lon and Diana met at a scenic villa.
They stood at the edge of the villa, hands on the railing, watching the setting sun in the distance.
"How's Caspian?" Lon spoke first.
Diana tucked her hair behind her ear, smiling beautifully, "Still drunk, sleeping."
"Sorry," Lon said sincerely.
Diana looked at him. "Why are you being so childish?"
She had learned the whole story from Chloe. Honestly, she never thought such a thing would happen to Lon.
"You rejected me and chose him, I had to know if he was worth your lifelong commitment." Lon didn't hide anything, laying all his thoughts bare.
Diana looked at the distant scenery of the villa, her eyes filled with tenderness as she answered, "He's very good, and worth it."
Seeing her like this, Lon suddenly didn't know what to say.
If he said Caspian had deep thoughts, would she think he was trying to sow discord?
"Don't worry." Diana thought he was concerned and added, "Don't you trust my judgment?"
"In your view, what kind of person is he?" Lon tried to hint.
"In your words, someone worth my lifelong commitment." Diana smiled, exuding a comforting aura. "Though sometimes a bit foolish and not brave enough, he's reliable when it matters."
"Foolish?" Lon was slightly puzzled by this description.
