Chapter 671 A Farewell Gift

"Even if you praise me, I wouldn't know," Louis said bluntly. "If you want to know what Caspian thinks, don't listen to others' speculation, you have to talk to him directly."

Diana puffed out her cheeks.

Louis remained indifferent. "Got it?"

"You're wrong," Diana argued, sounding very serious. "Some people are just stubborn and won't tell the truth."

"That's for you to judge," Louis acknowledged her point and offered a suggestion. "You can ask him first, then make your own guesses and judgments based on what he says."

Diana found it troublesome.

"If there's nothing else, go play in the yard. I want to read," Louis said.

"Am I really your sister?" Diana huffed, looking angry. "How can you be so heartless to me?"

"I'm not, or I would have thrown you out the moment you interrupted my reading," Louis said directly.

Diana wanted to retort but found she couldn't. In the end, she ran out.

Louis didn't go after her, knowing she wasn't really angry.

That evening.

Diana was sulking as she packed her things.

After putting everything in her suitcase, she went to find Charles.

Seeing her unhappy face, Charles's heart softened. "What's wrong?"

"Can you help me find Caspian?" Diana held his big hand, her cute face showing a bit of unhappiness. "I went to see him several times today, but he didn't open the door."

Charles paused.

Diana continued, "Can you tell him I'm leaving at eight tomorrow morning and see if he wants to see me off?"

"Let's go together," Charles said, holding her hand.

"No," Diana said with a bit of emotion, speaking rationally. "He doesn't want me to find him."

"Then wait at home, and I'll go tell him?" Charles asked tentatively.

Diana nodded. "Okay."

Just then, Louis walked over.

Charles and Diana looked at his face, silently asking what was going on.

"Someone's looking for you," Louis said, staring at Diana. "Go downstairs."

"Who?"

"You'll know when you go down."

"No," Diana quickly refused, her eyes rolling. "You must be lying to me."

"It's your choice," Louis said, clearly teasing her, his beautiful eyes calm. "Don't cry later when Caspian leaves."

Diana's eyes lit up.

Caspian! She immediately ran downstairs.

Seeing Caspian sitting in the living room like a good boy, Diana's face broke into a big smile. She quickly ran over and hugged him. "Caspian!"

Caspian staggered from her pounce, falling onto the sofa.

Diana laughed, "Why are you here?"

"To give you a farewell gift." Caspian's cheeks turned slightly red, Diana's bright smile filling his eyes.

Diana immediately felt happy.

She sat up, her eyes sparkling. "Really?"

"Yeah." Caspian also sat up.

He handed her the gift he had prepared.

Diana took the square box. As she opened it, Caspian's palms sweated a little. After glancing at her face, he said slowly, "I didn't know what you liked, so I just made something."

"You made this?" Diana was slightly surprised.

She held a wooden carving of a girl.

It looked a lot like Diana, wearing a little dress and a cute hairpin.

Caspian didn't know if she would like it, answering slowly, "Yeah."

"So cute!" Diana loved the little doll, her eyes curving into crescents, her smile radiant. "Caspian, you're amazing!"

"Do you like it?" Caspian hesitated for a while before finally asking.

"Of course!" Diana answered quickly. "This is the most special, favorite, and satisfying gift I've ever received."

Caspian visibly relaxed.

Diana seemed to think of something, glancing at the doll and then at him. "So you didn't want to play with me today because you were making this gift for me?"

"Yeah," Caspian answered honestly.

He had started preparing this since Diana took him to the amusement park.

But wood carving was difficult, so it took a long time. Plus, it needed polishing after carving, so he had refused her.

"Next time, tell me about things like this," Diana said directly, never hiding her feelings. "I thought you didn't like playing with me, and it made me sad for a long time."

Caspian pursed his lips, words stuck in his throat.

Louis glanced at him and spoke up, "If he didn't want to play with you, he wouldn't have spent the past few days with you."

"That's right," Diana realized.

Caspian still sat there silently, but compared to the first time, he was no longer distant and cold.

Diana tilted her head and asked, "Caspian, do you think I'm silly?"

"No."

"Sorry," Diana suddenly apologized.

Caspian's eyes showed confusion, clearly not understanding what she meant. "Sorry for what?"

"I misunderstood you," Diana said seriously, feeling guilty. "You've been so good to me, and I was mad at you."

"I didn't explain it to you," Caspian clarified.

He had only thought of surprising Diana but hadn't expected her to think so much.

Watching Caspian and Diana's conversation, Charles couldn't help but glance at Louis.

It seemed that although Caspian was mature, compared to the rational and calm Louis, he was still more like a child.

"Caspian," Diana looked at the doll in her hand, a thought arising. "Can I ask you a favor?"

Caspian's expression remained calm. "Go ahead."

"Next time I come, can you give you to me?" Diana looked at him eagerly.

Charles and Louis were puzzled.

Caspian also stiffened slightly. "Me?"

"Like this one!" Diana immediately held up the doll, explaining, "So I can have a doll of you, and you can have a doll of me. We'll have matching things."
