Chapter 724 If you want to leave, I won't stop you.
Most of the results pointed in two directions.
Either her boyfriend cheated and didn't love her, or he had performance issues and was afraid of being found out.
Caspian would never cheat on Diana, so the only conclusion left was that he had performance issues.
Thinking of this, Diana's brow furrowed with complexity.
How could she talk to Caspian about this without hurting his pride?
When Caspian came out after washing up, he saw Diana deep in thought, as if she was troubled by some difficult problem.
Caspian walked over and stood in front of her, asking with some confusion, "What's wrong?"
"A good friend of mine told me something," Diana said, looking at the fake chat record she had created on her phone, pretending to sigh. "She asked me for advice, and I can't think of anything."
"What is it?" Caspian asked.
Diana hesitated for a moment before finally saying, "It's not convenient to tell you."
Caspian looked puzzled.
"I can tell you," Diana said seriously, turning off her phone. "But you have to promise not to mention it in front of her."
"Okay," Caspian agreed.
He didn't even know which friend Diana was talking about.
After much hesitation, Diana showed him the chat record.
With the chat record, Caspian wouldn't suspect she was talking about him.
In a minute, Caspian read the entire chat record and handed the phone back to her.
"What do you think?" Diana asked tentatively as she took the phone.
"Just tell him directly," Caspian said frankly, being very rational when discussing other people's problems. "If she doesn't say anything, her boyfriend might think her hesitation means she's dissatisfied with him."
"Won't that hurt his pride?" Diana asked.
"Talking rationally won't hurt his pride, he does have performance issues," Caspian said bluntly. "Just don't insult him or compare him to others."
Diana nodded. "Then I'll tell him."
"Okay," Caspian responded calmly.
Diana slowly opened Caspian's chat window, and just as she was about to speak, she thought of another question and hesitated. "Is it better to talk face-to-face or through a chat app?"
"Face-to-face," Caspian said without thinking.
Diana pressed her lips together, thought for a while, and then mustered the courage to look at him, her beautiful eyes as lovely as ever. "Let's go out and talk."
"Okay," Caspian agreed instinctively.
Diana felt a bit complicated inside, sure enough, Caspian did have performance issues.
At the same time, Caspian realized something was off.
After taking a few steps outside, Caspian stopped, looked deeply at Diana standing beside him, and asked in a low, clear voice, "What do you want to talk about?"
"That thing." Diana tried to act nonchalant.
An idea popped into Caspian's head, but he quickly dismissed it.
There was no reason for Diana to think he had performance issues.
"Didn't you say such things should be discussed face-to-face?" Diana held Caspian's hand, her expression as usual. "Don't worry, I like you no matter what. If you want treatment, we'll get treatment. If not, it's okay."
With those simple words, Caspian understood.
He looked into Diana's bright eyes and asked directly, "You think I am impotent?"
"Are you not?" Diana suddenly felt unsure.
Caspian walked over, put one arm around her waist, and kissed her on the lips.
In Diana's confusion, Caspian took her hand and guided her to do something.
That something made Diana's face turn bright red, her ears also flushing.
Why did she ever think Caspian had a problem!
Caspian let go of Diana, his face showing some emotion. He leaned down, looking at her delicate features, and whispered, "Do you still think that way?"
"No." Diana was extremely embarrassed.
She had never been so embarrassed in her life; this was the first time.
Caspian continued to look at Diana, wondering what had caused her to think this way.
Diana pretended nothing had happened, holding his hand, and asked, "Then why don't you have any interest in me?"
Caspian looked at her deeply. "Are you sure about that?"
Diana paused, then thought of what had just happened, feeling a bit uneasy.
Caspian watched her the whole time.
The atmosphere grew increasingly strange, and Diana wanted to say something but swallowed her words.
"Say what you want to say." Caspian was very gentle with her.
"Do you remember what happened after you came back last night?" Diana changed the subject, wanting Caspian to face his true self.
Caspian thought for a moment but had no recollection. "No."
"You can check the living room's surveillance." Diana knew there was surveillance. "After you watch it, come find me. I'll be waiting in the living room."
With those simple words, Caspian felt puzzled.
Being naturally sensitive, Caspian didn't delay and went to the study to check the surveillance immediately.
From Diana's reaction in the morning, it didn't seem like he had done anything outrageous last night, and she didn't seem to want to leave him, so it shouldn't be a big deal.
However, when he saw what had happened when Diana brought him back last night, he was stunned. He hadn't expected that the deepest thoughts in his heart had all come out when he was drunk.
Diana had been sitting outside waiting for Caspian. After about an hour with no sign of him, she got up and walked to the study.
Based on the time, he should have finished watching the surveillance by now.
Diana stood at the study door for a moment, intending to knock.
Just then, Caspian opened the door from inside.
The moment their eyes met, Diana clearly saw Caspian's expression change from complex to distant.
"Are you done?" Diana asked, her tone as usual.
Caspian was very nervous, his mind filled with chaotic thoughts. "Yes."
"Then..." Diana deliberately dragged out her words.
Caspian's gaze fell on her.
Diana looked back at him.
After a while, Caspian called her name, "Diana."
"Yes?"
"You should know what I'm like now." Caspian was deeply insecure, even though Diana had always loved him intensely. "If you want to leave, I won't stop you."
