Chapter 108 Spare Her Life

At the hospital, Ava quickly answered Joseph's call. When she heard Alex had donated his kidney to her dad, Walter Kim, she was ecstatic.

She thought convincing Alex would take forever, and she didn't expect him to agree so quickly!

Now, she just needed to find the right moment to tell Sharon.

Ava glanced down, gently touching her still-flat belly, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

All day, Sharon tried calling Alex over a dozen times, but he didn't pick up.

She guessed she'd have to wait until Alex got back from his business trip to explain everything.

In the CEO's office, Paul knocked and walked in with a file. "Mr. Smith, we have a lead on last night's incident."

Seb put down the file and looked up.

Paul handed him the file. "Half an hour after Sophie entered the hotel, we spotted a suspicious car. It left through the back door shortly after Sophie’s incident. The license plate was fake, and it vanished on a road with no surveillance. We're still tracking it."

Seb opened the file, his expression turning cold.

"Start with the hotel staff. The surveillance conveniently went down when Sophie was attacked, so they had an inside man."

Paul nodded. "Got it. Should we inform Ms. Wright?"

"Not yet. We'll tell her once we have results."

"Understood."

"I want answers within a day," said Paul.

Paul felt the pressure instantly.

Finding the culprit in a day was a huge task.

But thinking about his paycheck, Paul felt motivated again.

Meanwhile, at the Young family mansion.

In her room, Emily was screaming into the phone.

"What the hell is wrong with you idiots? I just asked you to strip her and take some photos. How did it escalate to her falling off the building?"

If Daniel and the Lee family found out, they'd never let her off the hook.

Thinking of the consequences, Emily wanted to strangle the person on the other end.

"Bunch of idiots!"

"Ms. Young, we didn't expect her to jump out the window while we weren't paying attention. By the time we noticed, it was too late."

Emily gritted her teeth. "The police will trace this back to you. I'll transfer some money. You need to leave the country immediately and never come back. If you get caught and rat me out, your families will pay the price!"

With that, she hung up and immediately broke the SIM card, flushing it down the toilet.

After transferring the money, Emily was still worried but could only hope the police wouldn't trace it back to her.

After hesitating, Emily, still scared, quickly packed her bags and booked the earliest flight out.

When Michelle Cook saw Emily dragging a suitcase, she asked where she was going. Emily just said she was going on a trip before hurrying away.

Sensing something off, Michelle quickly called Stanley.

Paul moved fast and soon tracked down the car, capturing the two people as they tried to flee.

At first, they denied everything, but after a rough beating, they confessed.

Paul was surprised to learn Emily was behind it.

"Mr. Smith, they both confessed. Emily told them to take some nude photos of Sophie. Unexpectedly, Sophie jumped out of the window. One of them tried to grab her leg, which likely caused her head injury."

Three floors weren't that high; if Sophie had controlled her fall, she might've only suffered minor injuries.

No one expected someone to grab her leg, causing her to hit her head and lose consciousness.

Seb's face turned icy. "Send those two to the police. As for Emily, take some people and bring her to Sharon. Let Sharon handle her."

Emily had just arrived at the airport when the Young family's people blocked her.

Her face twisted in anger. "Get out of my way, or I'll miss my flight!"

The leader, the Young family's butler, only took orders from Stanley.

"Ms. Emily, Mr. Young wants me to bring you back."

"I'm not going back. I'm leaving the country. If you don't move, don't blame me for being rude!"

The butler ignored her, signaling the people behind him. They grabbed Emily and dragged her to the car.

"Let go of me! You're just the Young family's servants. Don't touch me! I'll make sure my dad deals with you!"

No matter how much Emily cursed, the men showed no emotion, shoving her into the car and quickly leaving the airport.

Just as they arrived home, Stanley slapped Emily hard.

"You idiot! I told you to apologize to Sharon, but what did you do? There's no progress with Sharon, and now you've put the Lee family's eldest daughter in a coma. Are you trying to kill me?"

Emily was stunned, frozen in place.

Stanley knew about it.

At that moment, a man in a suit stood up from the sofa, looking at Stanley with a calm expression. "Mr. Young, now that Ms. Young is back, we'll be taking her with us."

Emily felt a chill rise from her feet, her whole body going cold.

"Dad, what's going on? Where are they taking me?"

Emily's eyes were filled with fear, but Stanley's face was cold. "You made a mistake and offended the wrong people. Now you have to pay the price."

He then looked at Paul, his expression cautious.

"Mr. Harris, Emily made a mistake. The Young family won't say a word about what she deserves. I just hope Mr. Smith can be merciful and spare her life."

Paul smiled, "Don't worry, Mr. Young. We're all civilized people now. No one will die."

Hearing this, Stanley sighed in relief. Given the current state of the Young group, even if Seb killed Emily, the Young family wouldn't dare say a word.

He could only blame himself for being too foolish, thinking Seb was as easy to bully as Alex.

Now, facing the consequences, Stanley had to endure the pain.

Emily, in a panic, instinctively stepped back.

"Dad, help me! I don't want to go! I know I was wrong. I'll listen to you from now on. I don't want to go with them."

Stanley didn't even look at her, ignoring her panicked cries, and walked straight to his study.

Emily's cries gradually faded until they disappeared.

Half an hour later, as the car stopped in front of Seaview Hotel, Emily's eyes filled with terror.

"What are you going to do?"

"You'll find out soon, Ms. Young."

"No, I don't want to get out!"

Emily struggled desperately, but she was still dragged out of the car and carried upstairs by two men in black.

The closer they got to Room 302, where Sophie had her accident, the more terrified Emily became.

The moment she was brought into the room, her fear peaked.

Especially when she saw Sharon sitting on the sofa, looking at her coldly.

Emily was thrown to the ground by the men in black, landing pathetically at Sharon's feet.
