Chapter 474 Don't You Feel Ashamed?
"No need, just tell Ayla that if she doesn't agree to the divorce, I won't see her again." After saying that, Leo hung up the phone.
Karen called back, but the other side didn't answer.
She threw her phone down in anger, her heart filled with rage.
If Sharon hadn't come back, Leo wouldn't want to divorce Ayla. This was all Sharon's fault.
The more Karen thought about it, the angrier she got. She drove straight to Silvercrest Group to find Sharon.
When the receptionist came over to say someone was looking for her, Sharon was writing an experiment report and was a bit puzzled.
If it was someone she knew, they would just call her directly instead of coming over unannounced.
"Did the person say who they were?"
The receptionist shook her head, "No, but they specifically asked to see you, so you must know them."
"Okay, I understand. Please ask her to wait a moment."
After the receptionist left, Sharon finished filling in the data on her experiment report, took off her lab coat, and went downstairs.
As soon as she stepped out of the elevator, she saw Karen sitting by the window in the lobby.
Sharon paused, her brows furrowing.
She hadn't expected Karen to come looking for her.
Walking over to Karen, she didn't plan to sit down and said coldly, "Ms. Wendy, is there something you need from me?"
Hearing the voice, Karen looked up, her face filled with anger.
"Sharon, what did you do to seduce Leo? He's now trying to divorce Ayla because of you. Are you only satisfied if you ruin my son's family?"
Karen's voice was loud, and people around them heard it. Many glanced at Sharon, their eyes filled with curiosity.
Noticing the looks from those around, Karen's eyes flashed with a hint of pride, and she raised her voice even more, "What good does it do you to destroy someone else's family? Why are you doing this?"
People present couldn't help but start whispering, and some even secretly took out their phones to record.
Sharon wasn't the least bit embarrassed and looked directly at Karen, "Ms. Wendy, do you know that spreading rumors is illegal?"
Her calm demeanor made Karen seem a bit cowardly.
"Rumors? Do you want me to play the recording of my call with Leo for you?"
Sharon was annoyed by Karen's unreasonable behavior and directly told the receptionist, "She's here to cause trouble. Call security to escort her out and don't let her in again."
The receptionist knew Sharon and also knew she was Seb's girlfriend, so she quickly said, "Okay, Ms. Roach."
Karen's face turned livid with anger, and she pointed at Sharon, "If you dare to kick me out today, I'll make a scene at Silvercrest Group's entrance and let everyone know you're a homewrecker!"
Sharon smiled slightly, "Go ahead, make it as big as you can. The more people know, the better. That way, when I call the police, you can't say I'm slandering you."
"Fine, just you wait!"
As soon as she finished speaking, the receptionist brought over security.
Two tall and strong security guards directly lifted Karen and walked her out. Karen's face twisted with anger.
"Let go of me, I can walk myself! Let go!"
However, the security guards acted as if they didn't hear her and quickened their pace, throwing her out of the Silvercrest Group building in less than a minute.
Karen fell to the ground, crying out in pain several times. She struggled to get up, only to be blocked by the two security guards, preventing her from re-entering Silvercrest Group.
She shouted at Sharon, who was standing in the lobby, "Sharon, even if you kick me out, I won't let you off!"
Sharon didn't even look at her and directly told the receptionist, "Don't let her in again."
"Okay, Ms. Roach."
Sharon still had experiments to complete, so after instructing the receptionist, she left.
What she didn't know was that shortly after she left, someone who had been watching the commotion posted a selectively edited video online, and it quickly went viral.
Not long after, Leo's secretary showed him the video.
"Mr. Wendy, this seems to be your mother..."
Leo glanced at the video and immediately recognized Sharon and Karen as the main characters.
His face changed, and he said coldly, "What's going on with this video?"
"It seems your mother went to Silvercrest Group to confront Ms. Roach, accusing her of destroying your family... Someone recorded it and posted it online."
Leo's face turned extremely grim, "Get this video taken down from the entire internet immediately. I don't want to see any related topics."
"Yes, Mr. Wendy."
The secretary immediately contacted the company's public relations department, but before they could act, the videos suddenly disappeared, and nothing could be found.
"Mr. Wendy, someone has already taken down those videos."
Leo's eyes darkened, guessing it must have been Seb.
"Got it. Find out who originally posted the video. I want to sue them for defamation!"
Seeing the cold look on Leo's face, the secretary was momentarily stunned but quickly nodded, "Yes, Mr. Wendy."
Leo took a deep breath and stood up, "Prepare the car, we're going to Silvercrest Group."
In less than half an hour, Leo arrived at the Silvercrest Group building.
Seeing Karen still standing at the entrance, refusing to leave, he got out of the car with a cold face.
Walking up to Karen, who was still arguing with the security guards, Leo couldn't take it anymore and grabbed her, shouting angrily, "Have you had enough? Acting like a shrew here, don't you feel ashamed?"
