"My mom said the same thing. She even said you'll have to transfer to a regular kindergarten because your family can't afford this private school anymore!"
Hearing the chatter, Demetrius frowned. He understood what bankruptcy meant.
Was that why his dad had been so upset over the weekend? Because his company went bankrupt and they had no money?
But if his dad had no money, he still had his own money. He could give it to his dad, and then they wouldn't be poor anymore, right?
Lost in his thoughts, Demetrius didn't notice the mocking and disdain from his classmates. Even if he had noticed, he wouldn't have cared. What others said didn't matter to him.

"You're lying! I hate your mom and you. I won't let your mom be with my dad!"
The two started arguing. When Jerold couldn't win the argument, he began to fight Demetrius. Soon, they were brawling.
Having fought before, Demetrius knew Jerold's weaknesses, and Jerold was no match for him.
Before long, Demetrius had Jerold pinned down, making him cry out in pain.
Some of the more timid kids ran to get the teacher.
The teacher hurried over to separate them and called their parents.
Sharon had just reached the villa but rushed back.
As she parked, she ran into Leo.
Sharon's face was icy as she ignored him and walked straight into the kindergarten.
They entered the office one after the other. Connie saw them and quickly said, "Ms. Roach, Mr. Wendy, you're finally here."
Seeing Sharon, Demetrius immediately ran into her arms, "Mom, Jerold said you want to marry his dad, so I fought with him."
As Demetrius finished speaking, the office fell silent for a moment.
Sharon held him and checked him over. Seeing no obvious injuries, she sighed in relief.
Jerold, on the other hand, had bruises all over his face and looked pitiful.
He wanted to run to Leo for comfort, but seeing Leo's cold gaze, he shrank back and didn't dare move.
"Dad..." He called out to Leo, his eyes filled with guilt and fear.
Leo looked at Connie and said, "Ms. Price, I'm sorry for not managing Jerold well and causing you trouble."
Connie was taken aback, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
Jerold was beaten up, and Leo didn't even ask about his injuries or what had happened. He just apologized on Jerold's behalf?
Even if Jerold was at fault, shouldn't he be given a chance to explain?
"Mr. Wendy, I called you here to help figure out what happened. This isn't the first time Jerold and Demetrius have fought. We need to discuss how to handle this."
