Chapter 380 I Don't Care If Others Laugh at Me Or Not.

Sharon shook off his hand, lowered her head, and said, "It's nothing, I'm just a bit tired. If you don't have anything else, I'll head in first."

Without waiting for his reaction, Sharon quickly walked into the villa.

Seb watched her hurry away, frowning. Something felt off about Sharon's attitude towards him.

After a moment of hesitation, Seb dialed Paul's number, "Check where Sharon had dinner tonight and who she was with."

In less than ten minutes, Paul sent over the info he had gathered.

Seeing the name of the restaurant, Seb's eyes narrowed, and suspicion crept into his mind.

Sharon returned to the bedroom, removed her makeup, and was about to take a shower when there was a knock on the door.

"Sharon, I need to talk to you. Can you open the door?"

Hearing Seb's voice, Sharon bit her lip, put down her pajamas, and walked to open the door.

"What is it?"

Facing Sharon's cold and indifferent gaze, Seb became more certain that she had seen him meeting with Bernice Smith tonight.

Tonight, Randy's cousin Bernice came over to discuss business and invited Seb and Randy to dinner. Bernice was near the Silvercrest Group Building, so Seb gave her a ride.

Bernice had studied abroad since middle school and only returned to Metropolis a year after Sharon's incident, so it was normal for Sharon not to know her.

"The person I had dinner with tonight was Bernice, my niece."

Sharon's eyes flickered, and her expression became strange, "You don't need to explain to me. Whoever you have dinner with has nothing to do with me."

Seb looked into her eyes and said slowly, "But I want to explain. I don't want you to misunderstand."

"I didn't misunderstand."

"If there was no misunderstanding, would you be so cold to me tonight? Are you thinking I'm flirting with you while entangled with another woman?"

Seb's sharp gaze seemed to pierce through her eyes into her innermost thoughts.

Feeling guilty, Sharon quickly looked away and stubbornly said, "I didn't. Don't talk nonsense!"

"Okay, it's my nonsense. But next time you see me with another woman, can you give me a chance to explain before deciding to treat me like tonight?"

Seb didn't want Sharon to distance herself from him again due to misunderstandings, especially when their relationship had just started to improve.

"If you keep a proper distance from women, how could I misunderstand?"

"Alright, from now on, I'll stay away from women. If any female employee comes within ten feet of me, I'll dock attendance and performance bonuses."

Sharon couldn't help but glare at him, "Can you be serious? What kind of ridiculous rule is that? People will laugh at you!"

Seb's eyes showed seriousness, "I don't care if others laugh at me. What matters is whether you misunderstand me."

At that moment, Sharon's heart felt burst with joy, like winter turning to spring, everything coming to life.

"Got it."

"So, you're not mad anymore?"

"I was never mad."

"You're saying you weren't mad, but you were pouting when you looked at me just now."

"What nonsense are you talking about? At most, I ignored you. When did I pout?"

Seeing her rebuttal, Seb smiled slightly, and a hint of affection flashed in his eyes.

"Alright, I must have seen wrong."

He went along with her, which surprised Sharon and made her feel a bit sweet inside.

"I'm going to take a shower. If there's nothing else, I'll close the door."

"What do you want for breakfast tomorrow? I'll make it for you."

"Anything."

Afraid Seb would continue asking, Sharon quickly closed the door.

Leaning against the door, Sharon let out a soft breath and patted her still warm cheeks, trying to calm herself down.

Even though they had known each other for so many years, facing Seb still made her heart race.

Now, Sharon couldn't even look him in the eye without blushing.

After calming down, Sharon grabbed her clothes and took a shower.

The next morning, as soon as she went downstairs, she was surprised to see Seb bringing out breakfast from the kitchen.

She thought Seb was just saying it casually last night, but he actually got up and made breakfast for her.

Sharon walked to the dining table and saw all her favorite breakfast items. She couldn't help but look at Seb.

"Why did you make so much?"

"Last night, you didn't tell me what you wanted, so I made a bit of everything. The extra can be taken to your colleagues later."

Sharon pulled out a chair and sat down, looking at him, "Thank you, but you don't need to make breakfast for me afterward. You're so busy, don't waste your time in the kitchen."

Seb raised an eyebrow, "Sharon, for me, you're as important as work."

Facing his gentle gaze, Sharon felt her face heat up again and quickly looked away.

"Eat before it gets cold."

After breakfast, Demetrius came downstairs.

"Good morning, Dad. Good morning, Mom!"

After greeting, Demetrius climbed onto the chair next to Sharon.

"Mom, I want a fried egg."

The fried eggs were the farthest from Demetrius, so he couldn't reach them. Sharon got him a fried egg and poured him a glass of milk.

Demetrius's face immediately fell. He hated milk the most and found it painful to drink every time.

Seeing Demetrius's scrunched-up face, Sharon couldn't help but laugh, "Didn't I tell you that you need to drink milk to grow tall and strong? How about just one glass a week?"

"Okay."

Reluctantly, Demetrius picked up the milk and started drinking.

After breakfast, the driver took Demetrius to school, and Seb and Sharon went to the company.

Sharon brought the extra breakfast Seb made to the office and shared it with Ariana and Jake.

While eating breakfast, Ariana looked at Sharon, "Sharon, why did you suddenly bring us breakfast today? Are we going to have to work overtime soon?"

The thought of this possibility made Ariana lose her appetite.

Sharon laughed, "No, don't worry."

"That's good."

After finishing the morning experiment, Sharon went to the top floor to have lunch with Seb as usual.

When Sharon arrived at the CEO's office, she noticed no one was at their desks. She was surprised, 'Were they all in a meeting?'

As Sharon approached Seb's office door, she heard his cold voice from inside, "Don't let Sharon know about this yet."
