Chapter 130 How Will I Face Sharon in The Future?

Seb showed up at Sharon's an hour later.

"What's up?"

Sharon, eyes red, looked at him. "Uncle Seb, can you help me find another apartment? If I use my name, Alex will keep bothering me."

Seb's face darkened. "Did Alex come by?"

Sharon nodded. "Yeah, he somehow got a key and just walked in."

"Alright, I'll handle the rental. Need help with the divorce?"

Sharon looked down. "The divorce should be finalized soon."

"Okay."

Noticing Seb's gaze, Sharon nervously clenched her hands. "Uncle Seb, it's late. Should I see you out?"

Seb stood up. "No need, get some rest."

As he left, Seb called Paul, his tone cold. "Alex broke into Sharon's place tonight. Didn't the guys I arranged notice anything?"

Thinking about Alex and Sharon alone, Seb frowned. With Alex out of the Smith group, who knew what he'd do next.

"Mr. Smith, I'll find out right away."

"Get someone new to protect her. Also, rent a place under your name."

"Got it, I'll handle it."

Seb hung up and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, his face half-hidden in the dim car, exuding a chilling aura.

The next morning, Sharon got a call from the testing center. After getting the report, she sent a copy to Alex.

Alex called soon after, sounding helpless. "Sharon, it's over. Why bring it up again?"

Sharon sneered. "Over? You wronged me. Don't you owe me an apology?"

Silence. Then Alex spoke softly, "I apologized last night. You never used to be so aggressive. You've changed."

"I was too kind before, so you hurt me. But I don't want to dwell on the past. Bring the documents, let's get divorced today."

Alex's voice turned cold. "Sharon, I won't divorce you. Last night, you said you'd think about what I said. Why the change? Did Seb put you up to this?"

"Last night was just to get you to leave. I'll send you a document. Be at the Vital Records Office at 10 AM for the divorce. If you don't show, that document goes to the police."

Sharon hung up and sent the document she prepared to Alex. When Alex called again, she didn't answer, blocked his number, grabbed her documents, and drove to the Vital Records Office.

She knew Alex would show up.

Meanwhile, Alex looked at the photos Sharon sent, his eyes red. The accident at Robert Pharmaceuticals six years ago.

Alex wondered, 'Is it really David's doing? If the document is real and Sharon sends it to the police, David would definitely go to jail.'

After a moment, Alex forwarded the photos to David.

David called soon after. "Who gave you those photos?"

"Sharon sent them. Dad, did you really do that six years ago?" Alex asked coldly.

David's voice was angry. "How could you believe Sharon over me?"

"It doesn't matter if I believe you. Sharon's using this to force a divorce. She said if I don't agree, she'll send the document to the police."

"What!" David's voice was filled with rage. "You can't let her send those documents to the police!"

Alex's bitter smile faded. He had held onto a sliver of hope, thinking Sharon might have faked it to trick him into divorce. But David's reaction confirmed the document's truth.

"Dad, why did you do this? How am I supposed to face Sharon now?"

"I did it for the Smith group. Without taking down Robert Pharmaceuticals, do you think we'd be where we are today? Do you think you'd be the general manager?"

"My position is because Sharon gave me her patent. It has nothing to do with you!"

Alex pondered, 'Sharon must have known this, which is why she is so determined to divorce me. She must hate me and the Smith family. If not for that accident, Sharon would still be the Wright family's heiress, and Robert wouldn't be in the hospital.'

David roared, "If she wants a divorce, then do it. Those documents must not reach the police!"

Alex tightened his grip on his phone and hung up. When David called again, Alex turned off his phone.

Alex despised David, but he was still his father. He couldn't let David go to jail. But he also didn't want to divorce Sharon. It seemed there was no other way now.

In his office, David's face turned grim after Alex's phone was turned off. He walked to the window, a cold glint in his eyes, and dialed a number.

At 9:50 AM, Sharon stood at the entrance of the Vital Records Office, waiting for Alex. She knew Alex well. He hated David but always longed for his love. After seeing those photos, Alex would definitely come to divorce her.

Her phone vibrated with a message from Sophie. Sharon looked down to reply, not noticing a van speeding towards her.

"Miss, watch out!" someone shouted.

Sharon looked up and saw the van speeding towards her. Her eyes widened in fear. The van was too close for her to dodge.

Just as the van was about to hit her, a black Cayenne appeared and crashed into the van. Both vehicles were moving quickly, and the collision produced a loud bang. The van veered off course and crashed into a pillar at the entrance of the Vital Records Office. The black Cayenne rolled over, ending up upside down on the road, and burst into flames.

Screams erupted around them, with people calling for an ambulance and the police. Recognizing the Cayenne as Alex's car, Sharon froze for a moment before running towards the burning vehicle. Just as she reached the car, a strong force pulled her back.
