Chapter 473 He Still Likes Sharon
Daniel gritted his teeth but still forced a smile. "Mr. Wendy, you are right."
By the time they finished their discussion, it was already past ten in the evening.
Leo had something to attend to and left first. Daniel sat in the private room for a while before coming out.
As soon as he walked out of the Radiant Pearl Hotel, he saw Sophie and Randy coming out of the restaurant next door.
They had just finished their meal, holding hands openly, both with smiles on their faces.
Sophie's gaze was almost always on Randy, not giving anyone else a single glance.
That focused gaze used to be on him.
But now, her eyes were always filled with disgust and impatience when she looked at him, and she was unwilling to say even one more word to him.
The immense feeling of emptiness overwhelmed him like a tide, and Daniel just watched them walk away.
Soon, once the Silvercrest Group collapses, the Smith Group will quickly go bankrupt too. By then, Randy will have no right to compete with him for Sophie.
Daniel took a deep breath and turned to walk towards his car.
On the other side, Ayla received the divorce agreement sent by Leo's lawyer and tore it up without even looking at it.
She glared coldly at the lawyer and said angrily, "I won't sign it. Tell Leo to come and talk to me in person! Otherwise, he can forget about getting a divorce!"
The lawyer was not angry but calmly took out an identical divorce agreement from his briefcase and placed it on the table, looking at Ayla with a composed expression.
"Ms. Bridges, my client said that if you are willing to give up custody of Jerold, he will give you an additional fifty million dollars as compensation. You can look at the terms inside and then decide."
Hearing fifty million dollars, Ayla laughed mockingly. "Fifty million dollars? He probably can't even come up with five hundred thousand dollars right now. And you, as a lawyer, actually believe his lies? Do you believe he can't even afford your legal fees?"
The lawyer showed no reaction to Ayla's mockery.
It seemed Ayla didn't know how much money Leo actually had.
But as Leo's lawyer, he naturally didn't intend to tell Ayla about it.
"Ms. Bridges, I have delivered the divorce agreement. Contact me anytime after you sign it. If you don't agree to sign within a week, my client will formally file for divorce in court." After saying that, the lawyer prepared to leave.
Ayla stepped forward to block him, gritting her teeth, "Where is Leo now? I want to see him!"
She had called Leo, but he never answered. Even if she wanted to use Jerold's suffering to soften his heart, she couldn't find him.
"Ms. Bridges, my client said he won't meet with you until you sign the divorce agreement."
And even if Leo filed a lawsuit later, he probably wouldn't attend in person but would leave everything to him.
It was clear that Leo had no feelings for Ayla at all.
"Won't meet with me? Fine! Then tell him he can forget about seeing Jerold again. I will never give up Jerold's custody to him!"
The lawyer felt a bit helpless, thinking Ayla didn't understand his point.
"Ms. Bridges, my client means that if you give up custody, he will give you fifty million dollars as compensation. If you don't want to give up, then he will file a lawsuit. Either way, he will fight for the child's custody."
And given Leo and Ayla's financial situation, Ayla had no chance of winning.
Ayla sneered, "Don't you investigate whether your client can pay your legal fees before taking a case? How about this, whatever Leo is paying you, I'll pay double. Take me to see him."
The lawyer shook his head, "Ms. Bridges, I have other work to do, so I'll take my leave. If you need a lawyer, I can recommend one."
"Fine, let's see if you can get your legal fees in the end!"
The lawyer said nothing more and left.
Ayla angrily picked up the divorce agreement, ready to tear it up, but paused at the last moment, took a deep breath, and opened the agreement.
After reading it, Ayla threw the divorce agreement into the trash can.
Leo was indeed crazy, offering her a hundred million dollars as compensation for the divorce.

She picked up her phone and called her assistant, speaking coldly, "Find out where Leo is now!"

"What are you doing? You can't even find a jobless person's location!"

After hanging up, Karen immediately called Leo. "Where are you now?"
Leo's tone was indifferent, "What's the matter?"
"What do you think? Why do you want to divorce Ayla? Leo, don't forget, you have a family and a child now. Are you willing to ruin your happy life for Sharon, making your wife and son hate you?"
"It's been so many years. Sharon and Seb have a child now, and you have a family. Can't you just let it go?"

Leo chuckled, "Mom, I don't care. As long as I can be with Sharon, nothing else matters to me."
"I think you're really crazy! Where are you now? I'm coming to find you!"
